I often hear others say to me, “Beth, I don’t understand how you have the time to decorate.” Granted, some of the projects I take on are time consuming, but here is one that took around five minutes.
I took two Dollar Tree garlands and wrapped them around my bedposts. I took some ribbon from the craft closet and cut it in half to stretch the ribbon and fit the balls better. I hung some red balls from the ribbon loosely from the garland and wa-lah. Christmas in the bedroom!
Hubby might bang his head on one of those balls in the middle of the night, but I think it’s a rather small price to pay for a cute Christmasy bedroom, don’t you?

Hello Beth ~I've just strolled in for my first visit…I've enjoyed taking a peek at your past posts. You've got so many wonderful ideas. Your blog is so beautifully inviting.
We share similar taste for so many of the same creative design elements.
As fall came to a close I looked forward to winter (that's fast approaching), bringing a festive inspiration for a few DIY decorations and gifts. With a little baking in between.
Don't you love the aroma that fills the air during this season?
My cat also appreciates the evergreens and an occasional ping pong toss of my (newly created and not yet dried) ornaments…
I've bookmarked you in my favs.
I look forward to coming by your charming blog again.
Come by for a visit. Your company would be nice.
Sweet holiday wishes,
Sara

Please forgive me for this, but I am wondering why you did not add bells to the Christmas canopy? 🙂

I would never wanna get out of bed! 1. For fear I might get a concussion on one of those ornaments. 2. It's just so Christmasy dreamy! Nicely done!

Wow! Christmas in the bathroom, Christmas in the bedroom. I never decorate these rooms for Christmas. I might have to start doing that now that I have seen your gorgeous rooms.

Beth, that is so pretty! I love how the garland creates a canopy. Just make sure you don't get "clotheslined" when you're trying to get in! 🙂

Girl, you know that brick wall is the envy of us all!
I have had up to 17 trees in our homes 🙂 a large one in each major room, and smaller ones in all other rooms. Each had a theme, each gorgeous in its own right. I love looking back through the pictures but don't miss them as much as I thought I might. Maybe being 54 has something to do with that? haha Merry Christmas!!

I would totally hang myself on this…but like you said – it's a small price to pay 🙂 You know I love that wall!!!

LOL! Yeah, so what if he has to get up in the middle of the night and hits his head on an ornament ~ it looks good and that's all that matters! : D You are so funny!
Seriously, I love all the touches of red in your bedroom. I love the framed letters spelling out Hope and the ornaments in the basket. The mirror looks so pretty reflecting the bed and light back. Nicely done, Beth! I just put some ornaments in our room.
