A few weeks ago, I hosted a chalkboard paint party and was so inspired by everything all of you have created recently with chalkboard paint! What won’t we make into a chalkboard these days? Warning to small children and/or pets: If your mommy starts eyeing you while holding a can of chalkboard paint, run!
So in the spirit of making everything into a writable surface, I thought you might like to see some of the highlights from the party. (I seriously had to stop myself on this post before I ended up reposting everyone’s pics; they were just that good!)
Chalkboard painted walls:
Goodbye House Hello Home (You simply HAVE to read the story behind this space. It will inspire you and warm your heart!) |

Chalkboard painted furniture:

Chalkboard Labels:

And then there were tons of gorgeous chalkboard trays, frames, mirrors, mugs, memo boards, and pantry doors that I want to post but won’t. Go revisit the post for some inspiration!
Tip: Many of you were wondering where you could purchase a roll of chalkboard vinyl/wallpaper like Marianne used in her post. If you search online, you will find several places that sell it. The cheapest I could find was a 5′ roll on ebay for $15.82 (which includes shipping costs). Happy Chalkboarding!

Great chalkboard inspiration photos! After reading all of the great ideas from the chalkboard party, I finally tried some chalkboard spray paint for the first time last night. I created a menu board and calendar for my kitchen "command center." LOVE it! Now I've been bitten by the chalkboard bug, and can't wait to do something else!
