Today I’ve partnered with Waterpik to show off the new Torrent PowerSpray+ shower head which I’ve recently installed in my bathroom!
Press play and watch my two minute video to hear my full review of the PowerSpray+ and to see it in action!
Installation for the PowerSpray+ was a snap. I simply unscrewed our old shower head, used a rag to remove the old pipe tape, and then added some fresh pipe tape before screwing the PowerSpray+ shower head into place. That was it! Easy peasy install that was done within minutes!
In our home we have hard water and our previous shower head was quite small and had a lot of mineral deposits that impeded the waterflow. I am loving that the Torrent PowerSpray+ has a 4.5” diameter head with anti-clogging nozzles, ensuring a strong water flow.
It uses 2 gallons of water per minute which is a savings of half a gallon per minute! As someone who likes to luxuriate in the shower, that savings really adds up over time. Also worth noting is that this high efficiency shower head meets the new water usage regulations in California and Colorado. Our previous shower head only had one spray setting, so we are feeling super spoiled with the 9 spray settings.
NINE!!!
- Full Body
- Full Body + Massage
- Full Body Eco
- Massage + Mist
- PowerPulse Massage™
- PowerSpray™
- PowerSpray™ + Mist
- Water Saving Mist
- Water Saving Trickle
You can play around with the settings and choose which one is your favorite. My favorite setting so far is the PowerPulse Massage setting! I have recently started a weight training program and as a result I frequently experience sore muscles. The PowerPulse Massage is so soothing and is a great stress reliever after a hard day.
By reinventing the way the water pulses in the massage spray setting, PowerPulse delivers double the massage force using the same amount of water as its competitors. You might not know this but Waterpik invented the original Shower Massage® more than 40 years ago so they know a thing or two about creating a powerful massaging shower head that performs!
And I would be remiss if I didn’t talk about style and design! As a girl who appreciates options, I love that the Torrent PowerSpray+ is available in a variety of modern finishes including chrome and brushed nickel and can be found as a fixed mount, Handheld, or Sidewinder Drencher.
On a scale of 1-5 stars I give the Torrent PowerSpray+ shower head the following:
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Innovation
I give it 5 out of 5 stars for innovation! A shower head that reduces the amount of water used while increasing the massage force (compared to competitor retail brands) wins my innovation award!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Performance
I give it 4 out of 5 stars for performance. While it outperforms our previous shower head, I took off one star for the “Water Saving Mist” setting. I’m being very picky here, but I thought this setting might act like a mist machine that you pass on a hot summer’s day at an amusement park. I had the expectation that I could jump in the shower in my clothes after gardening and just lightly mist myself without getting wet to just quickly cool off. This setting will more than mist you! 😉
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Massaging Power
I give it 5 out of 5 stars for massaging power. The PowerPulse setting does a great job at massaging my neck and shoulders without being painful or too intense. Love this setting!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Style + Design
I give it 4 out of 4 stars for style and design. At a retail price of $34.99, this shower head looks fantastic when compared with other shower heads in the same price point. I think a wider variety of finishes would be great.
If you’re looking to elevate your shower experience for a budget-friendly price, then I think you’ll be pleased with the Waterpik Torrent PowerSpray+ shower head. You can find it for purchase at Home Depot, Walmart, and Target.
Thanks to Waterpik for sponsoring this post and allowing me to review the Torrent PowerSpray+ shower head. All opinions are my own.
