This month my Lowe’s Creative Ideas Blogger Challenge was to create some “door decor” using Lowes products while keeping in mind a “Holiday in a Hurry” theme. I had several fun ideas for this challenge, but most of them didn’t qualify (to me) as fitting the “Holiday in a Hurry” criteria. I finally settled on making a ceiling medallion wreath!
Lowe’s has a wide selection of ceiling medallions, from simple to ornate, to choose from. I chose the Portfolio White Medallion for my wreath.
This wreath couldn’t be any easier to make! All you need is a medallion, some spray paint, a ribbon, and optional embellishments. I used Zinsser Bullseye 123 primer and Valspar’s Red Queen Gloss. I had the spray paint left over from my Urban Garden Fence Planter.
I added a fresh sprig of rosemary to the center of the medallion to add some interest. You could use this type of wreath year round and change the color and embellishments to fit the season.

Beth I have been following your blog FOREVER! I just love everything you do. I love the wreath. Hey I have a random question. How did you become a Lowes creative blogger? I would love to be one too. Lowes is my favorite store! I hope you don’t mind my asking. Could you email me and give me any information on how I could sign up to be part of the team. Thanks for helping and have a very Merry Christmas!
