This year in particular, we are seeing bloggers more than ever in mainstream media—on television, in shelter mags, and on the pages of their own authored books! Today I get to share with you my review of Miss Mustard Seed’s recently released book, Inspired You.
If you like Marian’s blog, then I guarantee you will LOVE her book! In the pages of Inspired You, she shares with us careful instruction, gentle encouragement, and gorgeous photography. She teaches us how to make chalkboards, sew pleated drapes, strip and finish furniture, and more. Marian also walks us through several handy tips:

- Making the everyday beautiful—one room at a time
- Getting the best bang for your buck at antique shops, yard sales, and auctions
- Keys to decorating on a tight budget

Very interested in having this book! My favorite pastime is redoing furniture and decorating my home. I shop antique stores,flea markets for home deco. Im currently trying to decide on what I would like to do in my home with paint colors. What a nice early Christmas gift this book would be:)))

I came across your site a little while back and I am so inspired by you that I have taken to painting furniture and trying my best to do nice piece as you have shown us to do. I am a extremely new beginner (never painted anything in my 56 yrs of life) so I do get very nervous about my painting and most times feel like it can be better. But because of your inspiration I am still working on doing my best and I have to say that I have improved some. I look forward to your tutorials and try my best to follow your advice.
