Hi everyone! My name is Michelle and I do some behind-the-scenes blog work for Beth. Today I’m sharing my DIY EAT sign tutorial! You can make this cute kitchen sign in a matter of minutes. Creating a bossy, little “EAT” sign for your own kitchen is incredibly easy and only requires five minutes of your time! I’ve had this sign for a few years, and it always receives compliments. Sometimes the simplest projects turn out to be the best ones.
Supplies Needed:
- 1 burlap canvas (my canvas measures 12in x 30in)
- Black letters E, A, T (mine are 7 inches tall)
- Super glue or hot glue
Instructions:
The stretched burlap canvas was purchased at Hobby Lobby a few years ago and it came painted white. If you are unable to find something similar, you can cover a canvas with burlap fabric and paint the interior white to create the same look. Likewise, my letters were purchased in black but feel free to use your own creativity and paint your letters in any color you prefer. I used superglue to adhere my letters to the canvas but hot glue will also work. Enjoy!
