Welcome to the 70th week of the Tutorials & Tips Link party! Tonight I thought I’d share with you a “store tip” of sorts. While on vacation in Virginia last week, I visited a fantastic store called Home Emporium which is related to Southeastern Salvage (for those of you lucky ducks in the South). This store carries everything home including the kitchen sink. Inventory changes frequently, so you never really know what you’ll find on any given day. I thought it would be fun to share a few of the items which caught my eye!
This wood circle mirror was HUGE and very interesting. It was indeed pricey but for the size reasonable. I would love to see it over someone’s mantel!
The lighting section was lovely and captured my attention for a good half hour. The prices on the pendants were so fantastic I was trying to figure out where I could hang a few. In the end, I ended up with a $12 drum shade but now wish I would have bought pendants to replace the “boob lights” in our hallway. I should have instagrammed this picture and consulted you all! I’m sure you wouldn’t have let me leave without a few pendants
.
Vintage bottles anyone? You could do better on the price at a thrift store, yard sale, or craigslist but if you want bottles without the hunt this is your place.
The soda water bottles were plentiful as well! What really caught my attention though were the crates containing the soda water bottles. They were at a good price at only $14.95.
They had a ton of butcher block counters and other wood counters available for cheap!
And lastly, I was interested in checking out the pricing on their prefabbed wood flooring. I would LOVE to replace our third level with wood floors…someday!
And now let’s stop shopping and get on with the party! Be sure you check out last week’s highlights in the Tutes & Tips Not to Miss post and see if you were featured! Also, I have a great Sherwin Williams giveaway going on that you’ll want to enter.
If you’d like to link up, please be sure to read the rules.
Remember that everyone with a tip or tute is welcome to link up but only those who link back to me within their post will be featured.

Thank you so much for the party, Beth! Did you watch the Bachelorette finale? A little sneak peek of ‘my’ little island.
That store looks amazing! All of those bottles and pendant lights … I bet you could make a round wooden mirror similar to that … for much less $$.
Hope you’re having a great week!

I love Southeastern Salvage!!! We have one here in Knoxville, one of my favorite finds is a 9 x 12 rug that we picked up last summer for $ 200.00!
Nice! I wish I had one close by so that I could peruse it every so often
.
Thanks for the party, Beth! I usually get my bottles out of other people’s recycling bins (no joke) but I did buy a green jug at Goodwill last week for just $2.
Nice find!

Love those vintage bottles! What a great shopping trip.
Thanks for hosting, Beth!
You were visiting my {old} neck of the woods. I grew up about 20 minutes away from the Home Emporium in a little town adjacent. It has totally changed since I left there for college in 1998 but I still love visiting {my parents still live in my hometown}.
I want to visit that store! I’d love to get some of those bottles. . .my thrift/antique store hunts have been fruitless. Thanks for the virtual visit!
I’m glad to be linking up with you again after several weeks away. My post today isn’t very inspiring, but I hope it’s helpful to people. I was the victim of identity theft/bank fraud and learned a lot. I’m hoping I can save readers some trouble. What a mess!
Thanks for hosting, Beth. I’m pretty much your millionth link, but I’m glad to be here!
Thanks for the tips! Love shopping and purchasing new finds using my creativity! Thanks for hosting and making blogging extra fun!
Make it a great week!
