  12. [...] Averi has had lovely little curtains for quite some time… folded in the closet. We needed a cool, CHEAP cheap, & unique curtain rod. I love the mixes of wood with metal, and clean lines. The perfect Industrial Chic Cheap Trifecta is born! Me & Aves headed to Home Depot and found our goods. Supplies: PVC pipe that was around $2.50 ish for 8ft Metal clamp thingies for 86 cents x3  {found in the plumbing section} Leftover scrap wood and paint. that’s about  $5 for a Curtain Rod Even if you had to buy the wood & paint , you could still have curtain Rods for less than $10 -I cut 2 wooden squares approx 5″ x 5″. -I sanded them and Averi wanted the edges painted lime green, to match her wall color. -I then hammered the Metal clamps to the wood pieces. -I did place 1 more clamp in the middle of the window, so that it wouldn’t bow. -Next  I Placed the curtains over your PVC pipe and threaded through the clamps. -I did not paint the PVC pipe. We wanted it white anyways, {lazy}but any color could really change the look of the rod! {hot pink, lime green, & grey } This little project took maybe 30 minutes. I forgot how much curtains can change the look of the room! So far this is the only room with non-naked windows {Your weekend Project} your welcome.
