Let’s make gingerbread martinis! With eggnog, vodka, kahlua, and molasses, these drinks are easy to make and special enough for your next holiday party!
Yesterday I shared my Tips and Tricks for Styling a Christmas Charcuterie Board. **Click the link to check that post out if you haven’t already! It is chock-full of easy styling secrets that anyone can do to elevate the look of your charcuterie board.** Many of you messaged me inquiring about what was in the martini glasses in my photos, and today I’m happy to share! At my holiday parties, I like to serve beer and wine alongside one special cocktail. This year, my cocktail of choice is an Eggnog Gingerbread Martini!
Watch the 30 second video below for the recipe and instructions for making Gingerbread Martinis.
Step 1: Gather your supplies and ingredients.
To make the gingerbread martinis you will need the following supplies and ingredients:
- Martini glasses, shaker, strainer, saucer plates or glass rimmers
- Ginger snaps or ginger cookies, crushed
- Maple syrup
- Eggnog
- Kahlua
- Vanilla Vodka
- Molasses
- Whipped cream
- Gingerbread man cookies

Step 2: Garnish the rim of your martini glasses.
Crush your ginger snap cookies to your desired consistency and place on a saucer plate or glass rimmer. Fill the edge of a saucer with maple syrup (or molasses if preferred). Roll the rim of your glass first in maple syrup and then in the crushed cookie crumbs. Repeat with remaining martini glasses until all the rims are coated.
Step 3: Combine liquids in shaker with ice to make two martinis.
In a shaker filled with crushed ice, combine the eggnog, kahlua, vanilla vodka, and molasses. Shake until well combined and pour into martini glasses. Top with whipped cream and add a gingerbread man cookie for garnish. I used Pepperidge Farms Gingerbread Man Cookies and they worked perfectly. They are lightweight and will balance on edge of glass and float on top of whipped cream. They also do not become soggy even if prepared an hour before your event.
Just a warning that my original “Soused” recipe below turned out a bit on the stiff side! If you enjoy a really strong drink, then I recommend following the Soused recipe. If you prefer a bit more eggnog to your spirits, then you’ll prefer the Tipsy version!
Soused Gingerbread Man Martinis (makes 2 martinis)
1/2 C eggnog
1/2 C Kahlua
1/2 C Vanilla Vodka
1 T molasses
Tipsy Gingerbread Man Martinis (makes 2 martinis)
1 C eggnog
1/4 C Kahlua
1/4 C Vanilla Vodka
