I finally finished all my indoor Christmas decorating last night and I’m in love with the traditional, warm, kid-friendly look! I used the Pottery Barn Kids picture below as my inspiration photo
I purchased letters at Hobby Lobby and spray painted them red. To hang the letters on the wall check out (one of my sponsors!) Dischangers 11/4 size and attach the small disc to the back of each letter.
My barn star was repurposed here from the kitchen, the large reindeer were purchased on clearance last year from Lillian Vernon, my filigree Santa was a deep clearance item from Gabriel Brothers, the stocking holders were a clearance (again, a theme is emerging here) Pottery Barn find, and the sparkly reindeer are 2 for a dollar at the Dollartree.
The stockings all came from Target over the course of several years. Zeph was the only one who was “allowed” to pick out his own stocking. I don’t like it, but he does, so I guess that is all that matters. However, I’m not above replacing it with something less busy if the price is right. Sorry choo-choo snowmen but you’re messing up my look.
I love the pictures of my two cuties.
I used rope lighting that we had in the basement to light the mantel. It looks gorgeous at night and is a nice change from the traditional twinkle lights.
Thanks for taking the time to visit. I blog for comments, so feel free to lavish them on me! If you have something on your own blog you want me to see, don’t be shy. Tell me to visit! Linking up today with Frugalicious Friday.

I love it. The barn star is perfect and I love the photo stocking holders. I'm still working on mine, between work, school and traveling for the holidays, I'm feeling a little behind. I keep telling myself, "It's only the 4th."
You've inspired me today. =)
