If you have never used scrapbook paper to decorate with before, then you are in for some mega-inspiration! If you have used it before to decorate, then you may learn some new ways to use scrapbook paper to add some pizazz to your home.
Cover Containers with Scrapbook Paper
Glass jars, containers, candles, and cans can easily be decorated for any season or event with just a few pretty sheets of scrapbook paper and some adhesive. Try placing the paper inside the jars for a more polished look, or secure the paper on the outside of the container with ribbon and string for a more casual look. Seasonal scrapbook paper transforms the look of glass votives to fit the occasion.

I use scrapbook paper like crazy! But my 2 favorites are… first I use it around used nestle quick containers. They have a small and large size and it’s perfect for putting stuff in like scissors or make up or hair bands and barrettes. My grandson puts little toy sets I made for him with spiderman paper. Also used frosting containers make perfect pen and pencil holders!

You can cover a file cabinet with scrapbook paper, wrapping paper, or wallpaper. There are several methods of gluing on the paper. I prefer a removable method in case you change your mind down the road. Check out this post of mine to see how I covered the front doors of my craft cabinet using wrapping paper and spray adhesive. https://www.homestoriesatoz.com/decorating/how-to-cover-cabinets-with-diy-removable-wallpaper.html If you want a more permanent solution, use ModPodge to glue it on.

Recently, I used scrapbook paper to make a letter wall myself for the office: http://www.thelovenerds.com/2013/02/letter-wall-tutorial-office-project.html.
Then, I decided to also make some cute coasters for my desk that use matching paper: http://www.thelovenerds.com/2013/03/making-personal-coasters-with-scrapbook.html.

These are gorgeous ideas! Love vase wrapping ones. Sometimes when I’m browsing DIY and crafts I mistake fabrics for wall paper and scrap paper and vice versa. Both materials are so easy to do so much with. They add tremendous color and patterns.
