The Snap Conference took place on a gorgeous “campus” called Thanksgiving Point. I knew you all would love seeing inside this shop right next to our hotel, and since I didn’t have my camera along I begged Rhoda to be my eye candy paparazzi. Thanks Rhoda! Ready to do some fun window shopping with me at the Emporium? Let’s get to it!
This gray and orange living room is so fresh and fun. I love the cozy feel of the sectional mixed with the vibrant pops of orange. And who knew that placing a sheep statue on your coffee table could look so cute?
This neutral living room is very vintage chic. I’m loving those mini chandeliers flanking the mantel and the floral tapestry (rug?) on the wall is also a nice touch.
The mix of the modern zebra on the chairs next to the vintage shutters makes me smile. I’m not a huge animal-print fan, but I always appreciate an unexpected blending of styles!
These black and white accessories, with a few pops of lime green, up against a hot pink wall is bold and sassy. Notice the bookpage pennant banner in the background. This shop did an excellent job at styling each focal point.
Pantone declared tangerine tango to be the color of the year, and people aren’t messing around in getting their orange fix! Orange can be found mixed and matched everywhere in home decor and fashion right now.
Below is a new dresser masterfully created to look old. (The weird shiny top is actually protective plastic.)
Many of the displays and textiles had an anthroesque quality to them. Isn’t this mix of florals and stripes lovely?
Speaking of anthroesque, check out that quilted couch!
I love this bedroom below! I was incredibly tempted to climb into that bed…but you’ll be glad to know that I restrained myself from doing so. Although I did lay across the comforter :). It’s hard to see the detail in this pic, but the poof to the right of the bed was amazing! It was made from a ton of ruffles and looked like a big flower. If you had unlimited patience, I bet you could make one with drop cloths.
I thought the headboard below could easily be DIY’ed with some boards, stain, and a jigsaw.
The hardware in the shop was beautiful and looked fantastic displayed in dried navy beans.
The back wall in the picture below was covered in tulle and accessories which was interesting. I also thought the headboard was sweet for a wee one.
If only I had girls :)! A brown, blue, cream, and white palette makes for a sweet yet chic little girls’ room.
Here is a close up of the wallpaper and angel wings.
The vintage crib was beautiful, but I can’t imagine practical.
The shop also had a very romantic garden section. These faux sticks reached to the ceiling of the shop and were gorgeous!
Hydrangeas and topiaries. You can’t go wrong with either!
So what do you think? Which items/rooms were your favorite? We had so much fun shopping at the Emporium and only wish our budgets (and suitcases) were bigger! The only purchase I made was a sweet round petal-pillow as a hostess gift for my best friend’s family, and she LOVED it! I hope you had fun window shopping with me!

I just love window shopping! So hard to choose which is my favorite, but the one that stood out to me was the vintage chic neutral living room. That’s a space I could see myself living in.

It was even more gorgeous in real life. That room reminded me a lot of Restoration Hardware. Loved it too :).

What a fab store! The floral fabric in the “anthroesque” pic – I am having pillow covers made out of it now for my family room! Love it;)
