A beautiful black and white fall farmhouse kitchen. If you like neutral fall decor, I think you’ll love these simple and affordable fall decor ideas.
Hi friends and happy almost-fall! Granted it’s around 90• today in South Carolina, but that’s not stopping me from eating a fall scone and adding a few white pumpkins around the house! Today I am honored to be teaming up with a dream team of bloggers to share our fall kitchens. Be sure to visit all of the gorgeous links at the end of the post! Also if you see something in my kitchen that you’d like to shop, all sources for my kitchen are affiliate linked at the end of my post. I’ll also link a few sources throughout.
This year marks our second fall in our country home, and I am feeling inspired to keep things simple. I’m the first to admit that I sometimes go a bit overboard and over-decorate all the things each holiday–and no guarantees that I won’t still do that in other areas of the house! 😂 However, I just installed new flooring in the kitchen that is very bold and takes center stage. Less decor is more when you have a bold design in a space!
I’m slowly making changes to the kitchen to make it feel more reflective of my style. Earlier this year, I partnered with Shaw Floors to update our backsplash with these gorgeous 4×16 marble tiles. I love them so much, and they inspired a few other kitchen changes! While our existing tile flooring is lovely, I wanted something that blended better with the marble backsplash. These vinyl floor stickers are an incredibly fun way to take advantage of a trend and elevate the look of a room! I’ll do a separate blog post on them soon. They are removable and won’t last forever, but they are a great way to experiment with a bold look.
On the right side of our kitchen, we have a little beverage bar and it is my all-time favorite part of the kitchen! I often stand here with my cup of coffee or glass of wine and look out this gorgeous picture window and count my blessings. My coffee mug tree is on a wood turntable which makes choosing a mug each morning easy peasy, but that little Rae Dunn DREAM mug is still my favorite! I use it almost every morning and have for years.
On the kitchen island, I installed some corbels from Hobby Lobby a few days ago and really love the finishing detail they add! Down the road I may paint them white, but for now I’m leaving them raw and like the way they look. I also added a cake stand with just a few accessories to bring in some early fall vibes.
The two farmhouse wreaths are from Floral Treasure and inspired my fall decor in the kitchen. I always love a good black and white buffalo check! The file folder is a Hobby Lobby find and is typically packed with school papers, bills, and magazines. I stuffed all of that in a drawer before taking this pic. 😬
The cute metal olive basket holding our wooden spoons was something I picked up for less than $6 at Walmart this week. The creamery dishtowel is an inexpensive Amazon find.
Sprockets the kitty is a new addition to the kitchen too! If you’re unfamiliar with his story, it’s a good one and I encourage you to check it out. He follows me around the house and needs to be at the center of whatever I’m doing. We adore him!

I love the look of your kitchen!! The corbel were the first thing to catch my eye. We had bought some for our island, but they were natural color and we thought they looked too big. But after seeing yours I think I will try staining mine. And yours match your chairs so well! I like the pattern on your floor and like the idea it’s not permanent. Thanks for your wonderful post!
Beth says
Thank you so much Carol! I might end up painting my corbels down the road but they do match the chair finish perfectly. It’s fun to mix things and make small changes over time!
