Using a bear cookie cutter, I cut out the shapes and dropped them into a baggie filled with cane sugar and cocoa for more chocolate mousse effect. I sprayed my cookie cutter with some Vegetable oil for easy release. I also washed it off and re-sprayed it about half-way through.
To make the bear faces, I dipped the tip of a toothpick in some black gel food coloring and simply poked on each face.
I saved all of the leftover scraps to put in my morning cocoa. Oooo, these would be crazy decadent to stick in your French Hot Chocolate ! A bit over the top? Perhaps. But over the top has never stopped me before :).
These would make a cute Valentine’s gift for a classroom or loved one. If you make these, let me know and link to your creation. I’d love to see them!

Suuuuuuper cute. Man, your kids are so lucky. I love to bake but I gain too much weight when I do, so I rarely do it. Plus the whole gluten-thing kind of throws a wrench into my favorite recipes. But Christian is ecstatic when I make cookies or cupcakes. He would go to heaven if I made chocolate marshmallow bears. Okay, I'm talking myself into it now.
