The ordinary arts we practice every day at home
are of more importance to the soul
than their simplicity might suggest.

The weather today is so beautiful that it makes the mundane look glorious. In celebration of some “ordinary arts” being practiced today in the Hunter household, I share with you the following:
Rains from Hanna bring completely unexpected and very welcome “weeds” to my garden!
God blankets the earth with His handiwork in the backyard of the uninhabited house next door.
Bear Sandwich Puzzles are made and…
….little boys are delighted to have a reason to play with their food.
And we end with one simple, beautiful, but sorrowful picture for the day; the last jar of my homemade strawberry jam is opened. (Perhaps my sweet mommy or lovely sisters will take pity on me and share some of theirs?) One can always hope…

Ha! We love you, but that would be TRUE sisterly sacrifice!
