I recently purchased some ring blanks from Michaels and decided to create some sea-inspired rings for the summer! For the first ring, I used two pieces of seaglass (which I found during my last beach trip) and some shiny shell fragments. I actually cut up a shell with scissors to create my shiny shell bling!
I used E-6000 glue to adhere everything together.
My next ring is actually two shells glued together with shiny “shell glitter” sprinkled on top.
I glued the two shells together and wasn’t happy with the overall lack-of-blingyness. So I created more shiny “shell glitter” and delicately glued it to the top shell.
I now have two very unique summery rings and can wear a piece of the beach wherever I go!
Shell rings not your thing? Well here is a review of all the things I have created from my beach finds. Save up those shells this summer girlfriends!!!
4. Driftwood Sailboat (Okay, so not made from shells but very beachy!)
Have you made anything from your seashells lately? Feel free to link to it if you have!

I'd buy one of those rings! I have such a soft spot in my heart for beach glass. It reminds me of summers at the beach with my grandparents and mom. We used to always look for beach glass. As a kid I had jars and jars of it. I wish I still had it! There is actually a shop on Lake Erie that sells beach glass jewlery. Your rings totally rival her pieces. I love them!
Love all of them! Thanks for sharing!!!
I use google chrome browser and it translates the site you mentioned (Brigadier Spoon) perfectly. Give it a try! 🙂
Beth,
The rings are so beautiful and elegant. They look like they came right from a high end boutique! The girls and I will have so much fun making these after our trip to the beach! Thanks for sharing 🙂
Wendy
those are super cute!!
How funny; we live right near the beach and there are no shells like that anywhere around here! The shells near us are crushed up or very, very tiny. We have to get ones like those at Michael's 🙂 That's Southern Cal for you! Love the idea though and I'm going to make one for my friend Heather!
I just did, today! I'll post the pics later on. I took an old country looking table and glued a skim board on top, then covered the heart cut outs on the side with clam shells. Now I have the game table I wanted. You inspired me.
I'm crazy about sea glass…and I love big chunky rings! Can't wait to try this project myself.
Those are gorgeous! I love sea glass. Saw a suggestion here to sell them – and I agree. They're beautiful! 🙂
So perfect timing for me, Beth! Just got back form beach vacation and have lots of sea glass and other treasures! Cool!
I'm gonna tell you something, and you're gonna laugh at me. Here goes… You need to start selling this stuff. Find a craft booth, a church gathering, Etsy, whatever. You've got some talent here, lady. People are going to WANT these, and you need to make them available. Now quit laughing off my suggestion/command and make it happen.
OH. And I'll take three of the brownie pots, please. Thank you.
WOW I love those rings! We just got back from the beach and although we found lots of pretty shells, nothing like what you have! I will post my button rings when i get my blanks from ebay! Thanks, Sue
Love them, I'll take 20. 🙂
Oh pretty, pretty, pretty!
I am going to our beach condo in a few days and I will be keeping my eyes peeled for some shells and beach glass now. Thanks!
I love those rings!!! Girl, you need to open your own shop. I have used my napkin rings for a few dinners and everyone raves about them. You are one talented lady!!! If you want to sell a sea glass one… you know where to find me!!
The rings are gorgeous, great job! I love all of the other shell/beach related items you have created as well. I suppose I shoudl use shells more in my decorating as we are coastal as well 🙂
Those are beautiful rings! 😀
