It is freeeeeezing right now in Central PA, but I braved the cold today to take some pictures of my porch for you. My words are going to be short and my pictures many! Enjoy!
And because I haven’t seen many porches out there in the blogosphere this season, please link up your decorated porch in my spontaneous Christmas Porch Party!

Hi Nora,
Email me at thestoriesofa2z@gmail.com and we'll chat!
This is my first visit to your AtoZ blog. I thoroughly enjoyed your home and the attached house photos. The front picture reminds me exactly of homes near my grandparents' home in Harrisburg. I'm thinking you must be near there as you mentioned a 1970s flood and central PA. If you ARE in Harrisburg, what areas are being fixed up like yours?
Your front porch is beautiful! I only got my wreath hung before we were hit with winter storms. Thanks for hosting!
So cute!!! Love it darling! Well done! Thanks for hosting too! I gave you a shoutout!! 🙂
Very cute. All "decked" and ready.
Love your porch!
-Trish
I adore your blog and all the lovely decorations. Won't you stop on by and visit the Bavarian Christmas, raffle and blog party going on!
Oh your porch looks BEAUTIFUL!!! Please tell me how the ornaments are attached to the garlands! My daughter has the same type of porch and would LOVE this!!!! I am sending her the link! I also just linked up for your party! Now I have to go see al the other porches!!!! Thanks for hosting this! XO, Pinky
Your porch looks great and love that chandy. Thanks for throwing this party!
This is such a weird question but what kind of curtain do you have in your front door? Since our porches/house fronts are identical, I feel I can ask:) We have the same type of door-wooden frame with huge glass pane. I just bought rods last night to hang some type of curtain in it for privacy. Did you just make yours?
You have an amazing porch to decorate! I love every square inch it! Fabulous!! Thank you so much for hosting this fun party.
Very cute porch! Your house is cool by itself, decor or not!
Your porch looks so inviting. I love the chandelier! Thanks for hosting a party. I'm joining in on the fun. I hear you on the cold. Wiring ornaments in the snow does not make my top ten!
Beth,
Everything you've done this season is spectacular. Thank you for all the inspiration and for spreading the Christmas cheer. I planned on participating in your link parties but …

This is gorgeous! Your porch was just MADE for Christmas decor!
I wish I had my porch and pictures done…I'd link up! Maybe I'll come back later and do it.
Beth , Your home is just so beautiful inside and out -I bet everyone driving by just loves your home -The chandelier is awesome -I always can't wait to see your posts -they always are so uplifting and inspiring
Mine's not ready yet since 300 lights decided not to light up for us this year! I'll link up as soon as it is! GREAT pictures. Your porch is swoon worthy.
Your house is perfect for Christmas decorating since it is red. I love your garlands and wreaths. Everything looks so festive! I'll bet that you've received many compliments from your neighbors.
I'm joining in your party!
Aw, you've decorated it all so cute and pretty! 🙂
I have some front porch envy going on right now! it is so beautiful!!! I would love to sit and drink some hot cocoa on those rocking chairs!!
Beautiful!
I actually sighed at the end of this post.
SO BREATHTAKING! 🙂

Your porch is wonderful, the decorating really fits the house. My favorite part is the chandelier, and the chairs. Do you ever just sit there in the evenings and watch people go by? Love it, enjoy!! Janell
Your porch looks gorgeous!! We are in central PA too and my son is about the same age as your boys. Maybe one day we could meet up with some other mommy bloggers at the Playhouse Cafe in camp Hill? I'm on the reader advisory panel for central penn parent magazine, maybe they'd be interested in interviewing some mommy bloggers if we could get a little group together?
Now I know what you did with all your unused red Christmas balls. They look fab outside!
Gorgeous porch. You have me dreaming of a front porch now.
GORGEOUS
Thanks for the sweet comment on my card holder Beth! Your porch is AMAZING. I love it — you did a great job. I can't wait until we get a house so I can decorate!!! 🙂 There's only so much you can do with an apartment!
Amanda
The lone wreath on our door with a spotlight is being put to shame with all this beauty! I covet your porch.
Looks so festive…we have over 45" snow in NY so we certainly can''t decorate like this outdoors – wish we could!!
So beautiful!

Loved it all…but the chairs and the table between really caught my eye….looks like just the place to sip hot chocolate for a period of time.
Have a great weekend.

Your porch looks awesome!!! I bet you used shatterproof ornaments didn't you???? 🙂 I will be linking up!

I'll have to take a pic of the outside. It's nothing special though.
WOW! Beth your front porch is precious. The PEACE sign looks adorable as well as all of the wrapped poles of garland. Very pretty ideas and I'll be thinking of the for next year.
Thank you for hosting! I decided to join you but I linked up last years porch post if that is okay with you. We did not decorate outside this year. Bummer….

ps Do you normally get much snow? We've had crazy early snow for last couple of weeks.
You did an AMAZING job! I love all the details. The pillows on the rockers. It's been FREEZING here in Georgia too. Temps in the teens! Please pass where is that Southern weather? 😉
That is so cute & festive!! I love the style of your house BTW, we don't have much like that in Utah. Happy Christmas!
I always love your porch, but this is out of a Christmas story book! So cute and festive! Love. 🙂
Now all you need is a hot HOT cup of cocoa and a nice heat lantern thing for the outside to sit under! haha
I am going to link up my porch tomorrow as soon as i do the post!!!!
