What color should I choose?! It is a question that plagues and even paralyzes many of us when making decorating decisions. It is a question that none of us takes lightly! We all know that the wrong color can ruin the entire mood of a room just as the right color can bring your vision to life.

Many of the colors in my own home were inspired by the sea. I miss my home at the beach, and although I live in 100 yr old Victorian in the city, I wanted to make my house feel like home. Well, to help you pick your own inspirational colors, My Colortopia has a tool that allows you to upload a picture of something you like and then based on your inspiration image, receive a selection of color palettes to choose from. I chose a picture of the sea and here are the colors I received. I love them all!

So fun… thanks! Amazingly, I clicked on the color I was most drawn to on the final palette of eight… and with the accent colors, the suggestions looks very much like my home now! I guess I’m in the groove I’m supposed to be in! 🙂
