To make the bird eggs, I did the following:
1. Wash and completely dry your strawberries before beginning.
2. Pull the green core off of your strawberries and discard.
3. Melt your white chocolate candy pieces in the microwave for about 30 seconds and stir until smooth. Add a teaspoon or so of shortening to your melted chocolate if desired. (It will help to create a shiny finish and make the chocolate easier to work with.)
4. Add a drop or two of food coloring to your chocolate until desired color is achieved.
5. Roll the strawberry in your chocolate being careful not to let any juice from the strawberry enter the chocolate. (It will seize up your melted chocolate.)
6. Skewer the strawberries or simply place them on their tops on some wax paper.
7. Let your 4 year old eat any of the “rejects” and perhaps make a reject or two for yourself!
8. After your eggs are completely dry, melt some dark chocolate and with the end of your skewer dot on some spots.
9. Once your chocolate dots are dry, reheat your blue chocolate and add some more shortening to the melted chocolate until it is nice and thin. Use a paint brush or small pastry brush to recoat the strawberries in blue and let dry. This gives the eggs a more muted speckled look.
I was the least satisfied with these guys, but I think the idea is a good one and someone with more skill could really make these look adorable!
How to Make Chocolate Covered Strawberry Carrots
To make the carrots, I heated some white chocolate in a separate bowl and added a few drops of red and yellow food coloring. I dipped the strawberries in the bowl, and then with a skewer I covered the tops of the strawberry where any red was still showing. Then with the same skewer, I added the carrot lines. Your lines don’t need to look perfect to get a carrot ridged effect.
Aren’t they the cutest chocolate covered strawberry carrots you ever did see?
Okay, granted you might want to add a bunny to the mix so that there is no doubt as to what these guys are. I asked my six year old what the strawberries looked like (pre-bunny) and he said, “Uh…orange strawberries.” Once I gave him a little bunnyscape context clue, he caught on! Phew.
How to Make Chocolate Covered Strawberries with Bling
With the rest of the strawberries, I decided to go traditional. I melted and dipped them in some dark chocolate, waited for them to set on wax paper, then used the rest of my orange chocolate for the bling. Simply place your melted-colored-chocolate in a plastic baggy, snip the end with scissors, and move the bag back and forth quickly in the direction you want the icing to go! Just go crazy and have fun with this step!
Wouldn’t these be adorable as place cards around your Easter table or incorporated into your tablescape?

With SMS marketing, this situation is highly unlikely to arise because people take their cell phones with them everywhere they go.
You have to consider that with all the competition from other websites online, what other promotional alternatives do you have that do not cost a fortune.
Marketing majors, and others entering the advertising industry,
generally work in one of two areas of advertising: sales or creative.

These could not be more cute! I actually put together an Evite for church, lunch, and an Easter Egg Hunt for our family after seeing these. I LOVE to eat chocolate covered strawberries and for some reason have never done them at home. Maybe it's because I need to lose ten pounds and I would eat every last one of them before anyone else had a chance to. Not so good…
These are so cute and so fun, Beth.
Just thought I would tell you that I opened an Etsy shop this past week and am having a blast with it. Thanks so much to you for encouraging me in the begininng to even start a home blog.
