Silhouette Cameo Giveaway and Vinyl Promotion

Hi everyone! I have an incredibly great giveaway for you today. One of you will be winning your very own Silhouette Cameo! This is an absolutely beautiful tool to have in your home and I adore my Cameo. When I was working for Homes.com on the Nicholas House dining room makeover, my silhouette machine was a complete lifesaver. I used it to create two custom DIY wordart canvases for the shelter. I created word art in my Cameo, cut it out on my vinyl, placed it on the canvas , painted over it and then removed the letters. I absolutely love the way they turned out!

I’m not sure what I would make, because I am trying to win this for my sister and I’m not sure if I will ever get to use it, she will be so busy with it! :-) Thanks for the giveaway!

My internet froze up, and I’m not sure my first comment went through, so sorry if I post twice.

I would love to make all things vinyl with a brand new cameo!

  6. shelby roberts says

I would make EVERYTHING! No really though I would. I however, would start with the decor for the baby room.

  7. says

I have a blank wall in the hallway between my boys’ rooms. I want to fill it with pictures and then make my own inspirational quotes on canvas or wood to hang with the pictures.

  8. says

What would I do with a Silhouette Cameo???? Where do I start – I first start to work on all the memory box frames I have planned to make for a gallery arrangement on the largest wall in our house since we moved in 4 years ago but have put on hold waiting to have the money to purchase a Cameo so I can make such frames look polished – not old scrapbook-like sloppy. I’d even re-do some boxes I’ve already made!

  9. Sandy A says

I would make projects with our Grandchildren. They love to do crafts at Gramma’s house and this machine would be so wonderful to have…

  10. Debbie Dunbar says

I’d love one for so many reasons – projects at home, projects for my classroom, gifts – the list goes on!

  11. Becca says

I would love to have one for both home decorations and for use at school! I have two classrooms that I work in and decorate and it would make them both look so cute!

  15. Lynnette says

There are so many things I would love to make with this, I don’t know where I would start. Maybe vinyl sayings for my walls!

I have several projects: labels, two signs, Christmas ornaments to give as gifts….. that’s just off the top of my head!

  21. says

So much stuff, I can’t even pin it down to one project. We are building a brand new house and we were hoping to make a small sign with a Bible verse for each room, so that would probably be first on the list.

  22. says

I build custom wood furniture. I would use this to create decals to stain around. The decal would be the natural wood color and the rest of the furniture would be the darker stain color.

  23. Sol says

  24. Tammi Mitchell says

I’d create timeless family wall heirlooms so my kids could share them and pass them on to their kids.

  25. says

I would love to use the vinyl to label and organize my pantry. The etching kit would be awesome to label all of our serving dishes for parties. And the fabric ink kit would be nice to decorate pillows and hand towels and tshirts. I’m also excited about the idea of making handmade cards and gift tags. The possibilities are endless…but my wallet is not.

  26. Maddie Davis says

I would make so many crafts, for my daughter;s wedding, for VBS, for Christmas presents, for my granddaughter…….

  27. Diane Mikitson says

I’m crazy about vinyl wall quotes, although I keep seeing so many cute project ideas on the web, that I’m not sure what I’d start with. =)

  32. Chantal Hickey says

Everything, pretty much! But seriously, mostly wall art for my little princesses & their now big-girl room! Also, labeling everything jar & canister in my kitchen ’cause I’m like that. Lol.

  33. Valarie P S says

Everything! But the first thing I would do is make an interactive menu. That way if it looks interesting and artistic I might actually keep to a weekly/monthly menu instead of waiting til the last minute and making unhealthy choices.

  34. Karen says

As a teacher, I could use the Cameo in so many ways: organizing my classroom, making teaching materials, and decorating the “empty shelf” area outside the lunch room. :) Fingers crossed!

  35. says

I would love one for screen printing and appliques for stuff for my 4 month old little girl and her same-aged cousin. I’ve always drooled over the Silhouette, I just can’t afford one right now.

  36. says

Beth, Love your diy wood canvas projects. They are lot of projects that I would love to make using Silhouette cameo like cards,mixed-media canvas, art journaling etc. ( I mean as I get better at using cameo, then I would slowly progress to more projects). My first project would be to use chalkboard vinyl and create a beautiful writing space one for me and one for my kids. Super excited!!!. thank you for inspiring and hosting Silhouette cameo giveaway.
