A few weeks ago, Pottery Barn emailed me with an invite to take part in an exclusive PINterior Decorating blogger challenge. I would receive the Tanner Nesting Tables and would need to showcase the tables in two completely different ways in two completely different rooms. Sounds like fun! To gather inspiration for my designs, I first created a pin board showcasing styled nesting tables that I liked. You can click on the image below to be taken to my pin board.
There are so many great ways to use nesting tables within the home. I really liked the idea of using them besides a claw-foot tub to hold your beauty potions, but alas, I am lacking said claw-foot tub. The next idea that caught my eye was to use the nesting tables as a coffee table. I think it’s a great way to add interest and structure to your living room and also a great space saver—especially if you life in a narrow city townhouse like we do.
Design #1: Nesting tables as coffee table.
I am toying with the idea of switching our dining room with the living room and this challenge gave me the perfect excuse to move some furniture around and test it out! I placed our loveseat sofa in front of the brick wall and added the Tanner Nesting Tables to create a cozy nook for Christmas. All that is missing is my hot cocoa with marshmallows.
Design #2: Nesting tables between chairs in bedroom.
For my second design, I carried the nesting tables up to our master bedroom. I am currently in the process of redecorating our master bedroom and knew that the Tanner Nesting Tables would look fantastic between my new chairs clad in Braemore Gorgeous Pearl fabric.
I think this might just be their new home!
I love that the tables offer me more tabletop surface without taking up a ton of floor space. This is now a perfect little reading nook in our bedroom.
Some of my dear blogger friends were tasked with the same nesting table design challenge and are currently competing to see who wins first place in Pottery Barn’s PINterior Decorating Challenge. Of course, I’d love it if you’d hop over to Pottery Barn’s facebook page and vote for me! Thanks again to Pottery Barn for the opportunity to participate in the challenge.
Disclosure: I received the Pottery Barn Tanner Nesting tables in order to participate in this challenge. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

I honestly hadn’t either, but I’m loving their flexibility!

I’m liking the idea of it between two chairs in the bedroom. I recently purchased new chairs for our livingroom, and moved the ‘old’ chairs into the master bedroom, but would like something in-between!

I love those tables and I think the space between the two chairs is the perfect spot for them!

I love the nesting tables! They’re so versatile. And I have my eyes on those chairs in your MBR. They are dreamy!

OK, I am going to come clean. I am addicted to nesting tables. I don’t think I have a room without a pair of them. Even my open side porch has a set. From my 30 year old Ethan Allen to several sets of Pottery Barn, they are the most wonderful versatile pieces of furniture out there.
