The New Year holiday is upon us and whether you are celebrating with just your family or a large gathering, this drink station idea is one you might want to steal! I am a Lowes Creative Blogger and this month’s challenge was to add some New Year’s sparkle to our home. My original idea was to build a drink tray and show you how to make your own. However I am still at my mom’s on vacation, sans saw, hardware, and tools, so I implemented Plan B…buy a drink tray instead! Who knew that Lowes sold such adorable accessories? And better yet, my tray and three white urns were all on clearance.
The tray and urns are all by Allen + Roth, and although I can’t find them available online you might be lucky enough to score some at your local store. The urns are plastic which is awesome if you have small children in the house. You can use them as candy jars, cocoa containers, and cookie storage without worrying about the lids being chipped by little hands. The tray is large, sleek, and modern with silver handles.
I found the adorable New Year’s printables from Catch My Party. I used the drink flags for marshmallows to place in hot cocoa. So cute!
The drink labels can be used on water bottles or any beverage of choice. Below, I removed the frappuccino labels and replaced them with coordinating printables.
Finally, I printed out the New Year’s banner and attached it to a gold curling ribbon for some added bling.
Silver, gold, and white balloons taped to the wall with 3M tape create a bubble inspired backdrop that is festive yet inexpensive! I love the way my drink station turned out and hope I’ve inspired you to create your own fun New Year holiday vignette.
Perhaps a $75 Lowes gift card will help you get your creative juices flowing in the new year! Follow the directions in the widget below in order to enter for your chance to win. Happy New Year loves!

Thank you so much Erica!
I love Lowes for their plants–even in winter. I want to find an indoor herb garden for starters.
Great ideas! I need to search more at my lowes, I usually go in for specific items and don’t wander around.
Me too! I have to say I’ve done way more wandering lately and am so glad that I have. They have some super cute decor which always seems to surprise me. I’m usually in there for lumber
