Check out these super affordable, comfy, and cozy outfits for fall and winter that won’t break the bank!
As a dance fitness instructor and remote worker, my weekly attire has devolved over the years to consist of mostly leggings, sports bras, tanks and sweatshirts. I rarely dress up and seldom look put together! Maybe you can relate, and you too want to begin to upgrade your attire–but affordably! Then, this post is for YOU! I challenged myself to put together cute yet affordable mix and match outfits that are comfy and versatile for fall and winter. Most items are well under $40, and I’ve only included pieces I have worn several times and love! This blog post is not sponsored, but it does contain affiliate links.
Just some general tips when shopping Walmart fashion. Walmart.com has many third party brands available that tend to be more pricey. The Walmart brands are more affordable. I am most impressed with the quality and value of the Scoop and Sofia Vergara lines. No Boundaries and Time & Tru are two other brands that offer incredibly affordable pieces. They are a great source for simple wardrobe basics such as bodysuits, t-shirts, flannels, and tanks. Some of their trendy shoe options are also worth a look!
City Tour Outfit
I wore this outfit back in September to tour New York City and it was perfect! The faux leggings are comfy and only $15.
Casual Thanksgiving Outfit
I used the base of the previous outfit and just added a shacket and boots! The belted shacket can be tied in the front or cinched in the back. It’s cozy, thick, warm and perfect for fall and winter!
Casual Date Night
This is probably my favorite outfit of the bunch! The square neck knit sweater is incredibly flattering and I love the pointelle stitch sleeves. The bootcut jeans fit my curves perfectly; however, they are too long on me unless I wear them with heeled boots or heels. I have short legs and am used to wearing a bit of a heel with jeans, but I thought it was worth mentioning.
Sunday Dress
I love the ease of throwing on a maxi dress and this turtleneck maxi is so comfy and flattering!
Running Errands
These wide-leg, high waisted black jeans are comfy enough to wear all day but classy enough to dress up if needed. I paired them with a cream turtleneck and cute cat-eye sunnies. A belt and jacket would complete the outfit nicely!
Cozy Work Outfit
I am thrilled to see that blanket skirts are coming back in fashion! They are so warm and cozy and perfect for winter!
Holiday Party
This green faux leather shirt dress is chic and on trend! It comes in a few colors and as I type this it is currently on sale!
