I love this tutorial found on Design Sponge on how to create a faux french window using wooden dowels, elmer’s glue, and painter’s tape. I have a huge front window in my dining room just waiting for this treatment!

That looks lovely! I’m going for a similar look with my kitchen windows, but diamond-paned. Mine, however, will be much easier to clean…I’m using 1/4-inch white vinyl pin-striping from the auto-parts store! I need to buy one more roll (the rolls are about $5 each, and I’ve used two already), then I’ll be finished.
