My sister Kim called me this morning and woke me up to ask if I’d seen Carrie’s stenciled floors. Wow, you know a post must be good if your sister is calling to tell you about it! Carrie from Lovely Etc. has indeed truly outdone herself! Go check out her gorgeous tutorial on how to do stenciling directly onto your plywood sub-flooring. Amazing! I’m trying to figure out if I could do this in our upstairs hallway.

Thanks so much for adding my floors to your inspiration file! I love them and I hope they can inspire others too – no matter what the issue in your house, there is an inexpensive solution somewhere. Anyway, thanks for making my day!

I love this! Our daughter’s nursery has carpet and this would be a cheap fix to beautify it!!!

I hate the carpet in our third floor hallway and I’ve wanted to rip it out ever since we installed it. I’m thinking this would be a fantastic solution!
