Let’s just say that my feet have always been a bit “aesthetically challenged”. Fortunately for me, my husband could care less. He’s not really a foot man. But over the years even my own father has felt compelled to comment on my tootsies (calling them “Barney-Rubble toes” on more than one occasion :). In spite of all this, I refuse to forgo cute shoes simply because I have ugly feet. And with holiday parties in full-swing, all girl-feet should have an equal opportunity at looking cute in strappy shoes!
erin Plus Intensive Repair Hand Creme. You can find these guys at any Walmart, Target, etc. and they run between $5-$10 each. The Ped Egg is…well, how do I put this delicately? I don’t; it is a cheese-grater-type tool for your calluses. I’m not sure I’ll ever be able to have fresh parmesan again, but I figure it’s a small sacrifice to pay for smooth feet. The Eucerin creme has alpha hydroxy in it which does wonders to slough away rough spots, which for me is pretty much my entire foot.
I might still have Barney Rubble toes (after all there is only so much you can do with what the Lord gave you), but at least my feet don’t currently look like I have been running my car around on the prehistoric earth!
By the way, the cute plate is from Pier One. They are part of their Christmas line, but with my interior color scheme I figure they can work for me year round. They retail for $5 a plate but I was able to get them for 50% off. (Asher found an open-bladed box cutter on a shelf in the store…another story for another time.)

Okay, I confess… the reason you had Barney Rubble toes is that I could not resist munching on them when you were a baby 🙁
I love you from head to toe!

Next time you’re in a store with an open box cutter sitting on a shelf – call me to come meet you before you complain to management about how your child could have died due to the neglect of one of their employees!! Why is it that you have all the luck?!? *smile*
p.s. I’m glad that Asher’s okay!

I have been wondering about the ped egg because I have some, um, challenging feet too! Now you have me curious! I will be checking it out for sure!

I think I’ll have to invest in that Ped Egg, because what I use could easily be mistaken for use in the kitchen. Mom has the most beautiful feet that never peel, flake or bulge. Thanks dad for the constant shedding of skin! Those shoes by the way are tres chic!

Those are not Barney Rubble toes, they are cute feet, they looked good in your shoes! I love the Ped Egg, I have even bought a couple for Christmas gifts. I hope that people like them as much as I do!

Little sister…you are so mean to me. And the steak knife was necessary after hiking the Rockies everyday all summer long!

Sure beats the steak knife you used that one time!
