Kid’s Summer List (with Pizazz)

You have probably seen many-a-summer-list in the blogosphere in recent weeks.  Not to be left out, of course I had to make one too!

I first sat my boys down and hashed out a list of fun things they would like to do this summer.  Then I found images I liked in Google images and saved them to a file on my computer.  Next, I simply inserted the images into a Word document and typed out our list in American Typewriter Light font.  Hit print, cut the cuties out, tack them to a cork board and call it done!

We already have a great jump on our list and plan to cross off several more items this week while at the beach.

I figured if this is something I was going to stare at all summer long then it better look cute.  And my handwriting is anything but cute.  Thank goodness for computers!

Here are some close ups of our list items in case you want to copy.

Hubs, if you’re reading this, I hope you take note of the last item on our list!

What is top on your to-do list this summer?

What a cute idea!!! I have a suggestion…Take pictures doing those fun activites and for the end of summer have them attach the pictures with the activites and make a book!!! that way you get to re live the fun and make a memory book in the process!!!

That is so sweet! I love that it's a list that looks like art! My son's 19 mos old, so if I had that same discussion with him? Our list could be summed up in one word… OUTSIDE. That would be one easy list! ;)

What a cool idea! Pretty and functional. I love the idea another commenter had about taking pictures and adding them to the board and making a book later.
