What I love about pink is that it is un apologetically girly. Some people like little accents here and there and others like to go all out. My girlfriend, Trish, who doesn’t do anything half way – is one of the ones who does what she wants because she wants to:

Beth- This is probably the most beautiful post I've seen on anyone's blog! I want to print and frame every photo 🙂 I've been dreaming of some pink. With all boys I think it will be out on the covered deck pink/lime green. Perhaps a pink chandelier out there. I'll send you pics when complete. Thanks for the inspiration! Sarah@ NorthwestHospitality.org
Was in the salvation army thrift store the other day and found a vintage pink Kitchen Aid mixer. Had to be from the 40's or 50's and it was in beautiful working shape. Would be the perfect thing with that pink fridge! Wish I had bought it 🙁
I LOVE pink…and I have two little girls who love pink, too. I'm tempted to use some of these pictures as inspiration to re-do my home…but shhhh…don't tell my husband…lol.
I have a house full of boys too…hubby, 2 sons, even the dog is a boy…well, an "it", but anyways…loving the pink! I always crave some when I'm feeling overwhelmed by all the non-girly colors that I'm usually surrounded with. I think I might just go buy myself some flowers today to pink things up a bit! Thx!
Blessings, Grace
I always forget about pink since I adore red. Wow! Those pictures are amazing and oh so lovely.
This week's CSI Project is Honeysuckle. If you're loving pink you should link it up! I don't have any pink projects…my hubs isn't a big fan of the color. Ah well…I just have to wear it!
Beautiful photos! I am going to paint some PINK walls this week! VERY Pink, "Sassy Pink" to be exact! 🙂
Lovely photos!
I too am joining the pink bandwagon, although I was averse to it for 30+ years. Call it trendy, call me changing my ways, but I am looking for ways to bring pink into my home for sure.
Of course the hubs hates it, but that's fine, I'll keep it in my girl rooms 🙂
all that pink is to die for! the softer the better, love it in the bedrooms and the kitchens, coupled with a few patina vintage items, it makes for a dreamy, heavenly atmosphere. thanks for sharing all the eye candy!
Adore pink, and adore peonies…a perfect combination in my mind! Janell
Beth, fun post, thanks for sharing and I love the new header, looks great! Take care, Laura
Oh goodness, pink peonies! In an aqua vase! *Swoon!* That kitchen in pic 2? THUD! (<– sound of me hitting the floor) Those gray striped walls in pic 23? … I've got to sit down before I give myself a head injury by passing out from all the luscious eye candy!
Great post,
Kimberly
luscious pink! i love that pink kitchen…we have an aunt that has a pink kitchen with all the pink vintage appliances that have NEVER been used…she had a kitchen in her basement and never used the upstairs pink kitchen.
Love all these room and am I rather anti-pink…but I can handle these rooms. Loved them so much I tweeted the post!!
Those are beautiful rooms!! The kitchen is so pretty and the ruffled bed cover is gorgeous!!!! I don't have any pink in the house but I LOVE to wear it!
Beth,
Pale pink (almost white) is one of my favorite colors. I do have hints of it in my home.
Your Friend,
Deborah
you found some fabulous pink rooms/decor!!! The Coastal Living room made me melt 🙂 And like you I LOVE the nail trim table (with the pink/black lamps).
THIS POST WAS FILLED WITH GORGEOUS-NESS 🙂
When and if my husband ever leaves me, the first thing I am going to do is get that pink refrigerator.
My daughter has an oh-so-pink room. You should check it out.
Pink Nursery
I think I liked just about every chair with pink in it in these pictures, Beth! I, apparently, have a thing for chairs! Especially that last one in the craft room.
I adore PINK! It has been my favourite colours for years and so many people tell me that light pink is the best colour on me with light skin and hair. I added pink accessories in my office nook and I *LOVE* it so much. It's the only pink in the house. I would love to have a pink refridgerator in my *dream cottage* some day!! Wonderful post Beth with really beautiful pics! I will be keeping this issue of House Beautiful for a long time! Angie xo
I love the color pink, I just got rid of the pink in my home, I had it for five years. So I guess I was way before my time. good thing I saved all the pillow covers….
Pattie
I like pastels so I probably have a little pink in every room. One of our baths is a blush pink, not too much. I am not a hot pink person!!
These pictures are really neat, I love how you pick up on things I might not have noticed!
XO,
Jane
I loved this issue, too! I was in Safeway reading it for probably a good 30 minutes. An attendant came by and asked if I was finding everything alright. Of course I was– I was finding out everything I needed to know about how to incorporate pink into my home (:
I am loving this! Did you ever see that movie with Audrey Hepburn- "Funny Face"? They work at a fashion magazine and the color du jour is pink- "Think PINK!" was their song. Your pink post made me think of that. Love it!
You've picked so many pretty picture featuring pink! If I was just starting out on my own, also 30+ years ago – I would love to have the tiny kitchen with the pink refrigerator with the Keep Calm and Carry On poster. You can't get much more girlie! Love them all – thanks for showing all the great pictures!
Hi Beth,
You really captured some great examples of pink …. all of those rooms were so fun. Years ago when I was first married I decorated our master bedroom in pink. What was I thinking? But the hubby didn't have a problem with it …. I told him real men love pink 😉
Have a great day.
Maryrose
I just spent the afternoon at Barnes & Noble thumbing through a stack of design mags. I spent an inordinate amount of time with the pink section of the current House Beautiful. Sigh. Those of us with boys have to just get our pink decor fix through pictures.
Love the pics you chose, especially the ruffly ones. Thanks for sharing.
These pictures are beautiful! such creative ways to add a splash of pink. Definitely puts me in the Valentine's Day mood 🙂
I'm thinking Mom-Cave… delicious images, Beth. Thanks for sharing!
Beautiful pics! I like pink! My daughter's room is mostly pink everything.
I'm in the same boat with all boys in my house. I am loving the pink though, just don't know where I can use it in this "masculine" home I have.
Oh, pink! How do I love thee? Let me count the ways! Pink is my FAVORITE color. Of course I have a boy and another on the way. Le sigh. I do try to pink it up during Feb and into the spring and summer though. BTW, did you know that Dita Von Teese has a PINK kitchen? It is swoon worthy. You can see it here:

Pink has always been a forgotten colour for me. When I was a teenager, I never wore it. But my husband has been buying me pink stuff every so often for years. My daughter LOVES pink, as all girly 3-year-olds do. I like it, but it would never be my first choice for clothing or decor for myself.
I so hear you, I am a mom of two boys, a husband, and two male cats! I'm awash in blue, green, and uh, sometimes, brown. Ew. Anyway, peonies are GORGEOUS. I'm going to plant some this year!
wow, Beth, you found a lot of great pink pics! I was eyeing a pink chair at the auction yesterday, thought it would look so pretty in my blue and white living room, James just gave me "the look"
For now, I settle with pink rose china here and there around the house.
Fab post!
I <3 the color pink but alas my daughter has always been more of the black and purple type so I settle for buying myself pink purses, accessories, etc 🙂
I have some touches of pink in the bedroom and my little girl's room has a lot of pink but I would love to bring a little more pink into the rest of the house. I think that craft room and the kitchen with the pink fridge were adorable!
I don't have any pink rooms- yet! I've been waiting to re-do the nursery ever since we found out we were having a girl but put it off because she sleeps in our roomi. Her co-sleeper bassinet. I plan to get on that soon though bc she's outgrowing that quickly! I planned out her nursery all in my head while I was pregnant & pink/grey/light green are the colors I'm going with!! This post just lit a fire under my butt to get started!!! 🙂 🙂 🙂

Do I love pink? LOL Have you seen my blog?!! 🙂 I have a hubby and three boys, but I do manage to pink it up around here! My kitchen is pale pink and creams and whites….I would be the one that would buy a pink refrigerator. 🙂 (well, depending on the pink)
I just LOVE pink!
have a great day girlfriend!
