After lunch we all headed out thrifting and antiquing. All ten of us! Those stores didn’t know what had hit them. My suitcase (carryon) was filled to the gills so this was just a browsing trip for me, but what fun it was to see what items caught everyone’s individual eye!
Here are Traci & Sarah showing off their love for soda. Did you know that these girls are very committed to their fully sugared, fully caffeinated sodas? They are. They LOVE them. They cannot live without them. It is their passion. Besides blogging of course. Coke? Pepsi? Take notice!
Kate was diggin’ this dress. It was very her….
…and Rhoda was in love with this Western beauty.
And this is a “fureal” find from Layla.
Ashley from Pure and Lovely found this fabulous vintage pyrex…
and Shaunna from Perfectly Imperfect found some too!
Outside a thrift store, I asked these ladies to pose for me. They were scared the chairs were ridden with bed bugs and weren’t so comfortable in this pic ;). Too funny!
Thursday night 25 of us went to a Mexican restaurant. Pictured below are (sisters) Cyndi & Traci, Liberty, and Richella.
And here is Dee, Melissa, and Marian.
And this was my table for the evening, Nester—whose name I finally was able to learn, but don’t ask me. I’d tell you, but then I’d have to kill you. Name that movie.—Rhoda, Myra, and Chris.
This morning after breakfast Layla took off for home.
It was such a blast to get to be silly with her for awhile!
I’m so mad that I wasn’t quick enough to focus my camera to capture this cute shot of Justa and Lay!
Can you tell we had ourselves some fun?
Kellie is a doll and made me the most adorable bag! I can’t wait to show it off. It was so fun to give her a hug and chat a bit.
Myra and I met in September at Relevant, so it was wonderful to see her again.
And here are a bunch of pics of the hotel which is just gorgeous!
Chris, Rhoda and I had lunch down there on that lovely patio with the red umbrellas, overlooking the waterfall.
There is a cute shopping center in the middle of the hotel.
I’m not sure what these horses are all about, but it was too entertaining of a photo-op to pass by. Can’t you just tell that Chris is saying, “Yoooou”.
Yee-haw!
This was our view during lunch. It was idyllic.
Here is my greasy lunch.
And here is a picture that was taken of too many home bloggers for me to properly link to. See how many of them you can name! (Pssst. Next to me is Lorie from Be Different Act Normal who doesn’t show how absolutely adorable she is on her blog! LOVED getting to hang with her a bit!)
This trip was so worth the money! It has been such a blessing to have uninterrupted “girl time” with some of my favorite people on the planet. If you blog and are thinking about going to a blogger event in the future, I highly encourage you to go! And if you just can’t get enough of Blissdom pics, below are a few other bloggers who have posted about the event so far:

Did you see the vine lady at the hotel. We loved spotting her when we were there several years ago. Shes on stilts and covered from head to 'stiled toe' in green ivy and her face and hands were painted green. She would wrap and shape herself all around the greenary. She blended right in and we were always searching for her!
Richella says
You should get the award for Blissdom photos! Your post is beautiful, but then of course we would expect no less from you.

Oooohhhhh… jealousy is coursing through my body right this minute!!! What a wonderful time! I grew up in Nashville and we would go to Opryland hotel some evenings just to walk around! I had my senior prom dinner there! You should see that place at Christmas!
So neat to see all the bloggers together. I would love to go next year! Is it always in Nashville? That would be awesome!
Beth, you look great! Have you lost weight or something? You really are just a gorgeous girl!
The Domestic Fox says
Beth…all of the backgrounds of your pics look like home to me. I grew up at Opryland…and the hotel was just another fun place that we all loved to go to. Those horses were in Opryland at one time…if memory serves me correctly.
And I think it's a hoot to see people all together that we read about all over the blogsphere. There are so many blogs that I read, and just a few of you have pictures that overlap. This "Blissdom" thing must be so much bigger than I can wrap my brain around… Of course – the venue should say it all…Opryland Hotel has been an awe inspiring experience my whole life.
Glad you had fun! Thanks for letting us view a small part of your trip.

So glad you had such a wonderful time, Beth. Opryland Hotel is breathtaking. You should see it at Christmas time. They have a huge, life size nativity that is absolutley stunning. It is an emotional thing for me to even look at.
I would love to know where you ladies went thrifting. I am only an hour from Nashville and would love to check out where you went.

It was so great to meet you in person finally, even though it was so quick! I'm sorry I didn't get to do the other 'home blogger' things but I really wanted to make sure I hit all the sessions with this being my very first conference ever. Maybe next time.
I met everyone in your pictures though so that was good! I also learned Nester's real name but if you ask me to pronounce and/or spell it…yeah I can't LOL
Love the pictures, Love Blissdom, love the hotel….just love love love! 🙂 Have a safe trip home!
