Your Christmas color palette can be anything your heart desires! Glean inspiration for decorating your Christmas table in nontraditional colors with this Beautiful Blush Christmas Table Setting.
Christmas Table Setting Tip: Use existing room decor to set the Christmas color scheme for your holiday table.
I love decorating for the holidays in both traditional color schemes and less conventional ones! This year I took inspiration from a fun piece of art that I adore and went for a soft, romantic, blush palette in the dining room. Instead of competing with, or temporarily replacing wall art and textiles in a room, consider using the room’s existing color palette as inspiration for your table decor.
Christmas Table Setting Tip: Use a mixture of garands down the center of the table for a simple and festive table runner.
This trick is a great one to utilize over and over again throughout your Christmas decor! Combine more than one faux garland together to create a designer look for less. Here I mixed an inexpensive flocked faux garland from Walmart with a slightly more expensive willow garland.
Simply stack your garlands on top of one another and fluff until you achieve the desired result. I tucked some mini trees in metallic shades of silver and rose gold around my garand. You could also add candlesticks and votives.
Christmas Table Setting Tip: Charger it up!
Forgo the tablecloth and placemats and simply use decorative chargers under your plates for a clean, no-fuss look. I’ll often place the cloth napkin just under the charger to add a pop of color or texture to the table. At the end of the night, you will have less items to launder and often the wood of your dining table is beautiful enough to stand on its own!
Christmas Table Setting Tip: Embellish each plate.
I always like to place something simple on each plate so that guests feel special when they enter the room and find their seat. An ornament, a sprig of rosemary, a Christmas card, or a bottle brush tree looks cute on the plate and instantly elevates your table.
Christmas Table Setting Tip: Keep it simple!
This table looks elegant and beautiful but it took me around 10 minutes or less to design and set. The holidays can be a stressful time so keep your table decorating time to a minimum. With just a few well placed items down the center of the table and a beautiful tree in the corner you can create a dreamy and romantic setting for all to enjoy!
