Hi everyone and Happy Mother’s Day! Farmhouse decor resonates with so many people because of the inherent design – simple and classic beauty. I love incorporating farmhouse style in my kitchen and bathroom (Click here if you want to see my new farmhouse bathroom!) If you love farmhouse style, you can make it work in any style of home. Our home is a row home with multiple levels that are long and narrow and my decor style closely aligns with “urban farmhouse”. Chickens, wraparound porches, and 5 acres are amazing, but even if you live in a tiny apartment or a cape cod, you can still style with farmhouse decor and love it all the same. 🙂
A special thank you to all the bloggers who linked up their projects! If you’re a blogger and would like the opportunity to be featured, please link up your favorite projects each Monday evening here on the blog.
1. FARMHOUSE KITCHEN BY HOME STORIES A TO Z
White cabinets, black counter tops, and wood accessories make for a great farmhouse kitchen. Add in bits of blue (like a mason jar), your favorite greenery, and you’ll be nearly done with your farmhouse kitchen. If you desire a classic farmhouse kitchen, start with these colors in any combination. If you love white counter tops, flip the colors around and try wood toned cabinets or try a butcher block kitchen island. Don’t forget the ceiling! If you love these beams, read about how they were easily installed here. (Important word being easily!)

4. FARMHOUSE DINING ROOM DECOR BY WORTHINGTON COURT BLOG
Study the colors and you’ll easily find the farmhouse theme. What do you see first in this design that you love? Maybe start with those elements in your own design. I love how the greenery balances the blue, and how the colors naturally stand out against the white walls. Add as much or as little of your favorite elements as you desire.

Wonderful ideas. It’s a shame I live in a modern home and cannot recreate any of them.
Love these ideas, especially that gorgeous mudroom! Thank you for featuring my planter project!
