Hey Beth~ I saw one of your beautiful pictures on Pinterest so I came to your blog to see where I could buy the green curtains in the picture with the green chandelier and green cushions and pillows and curtains. By the way, LOVE your blog! Thanks in advance for any help! ~Linda
Thanks for posting all of these gorgeous photos. We have this awkward dividing wall that seperates our kitchen from our dining room/entranceway. Our dining room is tiny and though I want to take that wall down, it's a load bearing wall and I just don't want to deal with all of that. My plan has been to set up something like a breakfast nook. It would be so perfect in the space but I've been bumming about having someone build a bench and blah blah. Seeing some of these inspiration photos gave me a few new ideas as to how to make this look work in my home. Thanks girl!!
I do like a breakfast nook, Beth! I especially like the ones with a window seat {like the one with the green and white window treatment and cushion}. It just saws "dawdle over a cup of coffee with the newspaper spread out" to me!
I like the cozy feel that nooks have. Maybe I should put one on my "someday house" list. 😉
They are all inspirational, Beth. I like looking at the lighting. I'm looking for an iron chandy to match the legs on my table and I think I saw a very cool one!
XO,
Jane
Love the inspiration pics! Thanks!
Don't worry you're not the only person who obsesses over things. I have a very obsessive personality.
I love them all! I just did a similar post about a month ago…I am still working on talking my hubby into building my nook:) I like the third picture that you posted the most. I think I even included that one in my post!
For those of you unfamiliar with Jen's (Tatertots and Jello) breakfast nook, you need to be! Go visit her and drool. It's gorgeous.
i would love to have a breakfast nook..very good place to cozy up with a book!
good inspiration too!
Beautiful nooks!! there is something so cozy about a kitchen nook. I just put one in my kitchen last year and I love sitting in it, reading the paper or a magazine in the sun. I wish I had been brave enough to have built mine in, love those!!
xxo

I love them. I think they just bring to mind family. My plan is to build a banquette in my kitchen and create my own "nook" as it is now just a half wall! Great pictures!
I have always liked breakfast nooks as well. They just seem so cozy and fun!
