Fresh Fall Flower U-Pick Haul
We have lived in our beautiful South Carolina home for three years now, but one of the things that still takes some getting used to is how late the season of fall arrives down here! The leaves do not begin to change color until mid to late October and some summer flowers hang on until late October. It’s nice to have an extended summer and such beautiful outdoor weather.
This year, I decided to embrace all of the gorgeous fall flowers by taking a trip to a local U-pick flower farm. I spent a few delightful hours picking cockscomb, dahlias, marigolds, zinnias and more! To finish off my bouquet, the flower farm-owner gave me a ton of her fresh flowering basil. Everything smelled and looked amazing and I might just be inspired to turn our lawn into a flower farm!
I headed back home and let the flowers dictate my fall living room decor for the season!
I created two large flower arrangements from my flower haul. I love using unexpected vessels as vases and have been wanting to use this galvanized watering can as a vase for some time now. Today seemed like the perfect time!
Fall Botanical Inspired Living Room
I purchased these black botanical prints for the living room and hung them above the sofa. The fresh flowers complement my prints and pillows so beautifully! You can find all of the inexpensive prints for sale here on Walmart. I used these inexpensive frames to frame all of them.
Here are a few more shots of our cozy living room for you! Enjoy!
