I’m joining Rhoda’s party today mostly to make myself feel better. My house is a mess, and I am feeling uber unproductive right now. My to do list is haunting me, and, well…I’m blogging right now. Enough said. Here are some of my favorite productive moments of 2009.
1. My boys’ bedroom (are you sick of seeing this one yet? Too bad.) before:
After:

2. Laundry closet before:After:
3. Jewelry box before:
After:

4. Monogrammed plate:5. Old sewing table turned craft cart:
Cleaning closet turned craft closet:
6. Stairs before:
After:
9. Dining room before:
After:
10. Me before becoming a home blogger. (Yes, that is what I really look like in the morning. I know. Scary. And yes, I’m brave.):
After meeting all of you:
I’m so excited to see what 2010 holds for The Stories of A to Z. Thanks for sticking it out with me people. I love you!

Goya, I purchased the boys' beds off of ebay. I can't remember who the seller was but it was a furniture company. I put in "walnut bunk beds" or something in the search engine. Good luck!
very cool boys room. can i ask you where you got their beds. love them!
If you're feeling unproductive, wow, I'm in a world of hurt.
And I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE your brick wall!!!!
Awesome make-overs….I remember the boys make-over that came out just great !!!
LOL that last pic….we could be sisters…thank God for makeup I say !!!
All the best,
Kathy 🙂
THose are some awesome projects!!! I love those stairs!!!!
Beth! I love seeing all of these projects. Those stairs are still my fav, but I love you more for posting that top picture of you! Made my day 🙂
the monogram plate was what I first ran across, and that's when I fell in love with your blog! Your laundry closet is beautiful!! I loved reading about all of your projects and everything else!
You've had a busy year! I love your boys' bedroom! I have two boys so it is pure inspiration! That's the first I've seen your porch makeover. I love it! That last photo doesn't fool me. I know you're always just as lovely as the after. Thank you for your tender thoughts on my heartfelt post. Cheers to a new year and new memories!
~Lisa
You've had a great year and it has been so fun to follow along! Can't wait to follow you for another room.
I still love seeing the boy's room makeover and hey it took a lot of work you should show it off as often as you can! My other fave are those monogramed plates because I feel like I could actually make that.
I love all of your projects. So much fun to visit your blog.
Those projects are awesome! Can't wait to see what you will be doing for 2010.
Heidi
Awesome rooms Beth! Thanks for sharing! Now I need to steal you so you can help me and then I can be just like you! Thank you for sharing. I love to visit your blog. You are one busy lady!
I love your boys' room and never get tired of seeing it! So many great projects for you this year…I love your style.
Here's to more great inspiration in 2010 🙂
Hey Blondie~ (that used to be my nickname, when I was as blonde as you)
You kicked some major fab, diy, decor, crafting but this passed 09! love all of it! My daughter (4 yrs) was sitting next to me, while reading this post… and she and i giggled at your crazy silly glasses photo… then she saw your other one.. and said this "that's a gorgeous picture!" I said "Yes' it is! you look very beautiful in that picture. Come back and visit me again!;) KIT!
your completed projects are lovely. haha…love the morning picture!
I've seen your porch, dining room and chairs, and stairs before, and am reminded of how much I loved them the first time. And now I am ga-ga over all your other stuff! The boys' room looks like Pottery Barn, the jewelry box makes me want to go find an old ugly one at Goodwill to redo, are those rain gutter shelves I see in your craft closet? and I have an almost identical laundry closet that wants to look like yours!
I think the boys room would be one of my very favs of the blogs I visited doing this post!! Love your style, Beth!
I hadn't seen your craft closet before! Wow! Also love your front porch makeover. When I saw the before, I thought it looked great already. But the after was gorgeous! Just love your style.
Here's to another year of great makeovers! Can't wait to see what else you come up with. 🙂
You are so fabulously crafty. Can I tell you how much I'm drooling over your exposed brick!!!
You're transformations are all amazing! The last one made me laugh!
You are the cutest thing. Love those last two photos!! 😉
I remember your craft cart and craft closet projects…b/c I was jealous of them. 😉 You have some wonderful things featured!
Great ideas here! My heart skips a beat every time I see your stairs and that brick wall….so in love~
I never get tired of any of your projects. The stairs are fantastic and I love your furniture makeovers. You've done some great work!
The pictures of you are a riot. It's like the celebreties without makeup pictures! You are brave…and cute both ways. 🙂
hehehe… you are too funny!
Great projects! I especially love your stairs 🙂

Ha! I love all your transformations, but I think that last one is my favorite! : ) I never get tired of seeing your boys' room and you did some great projects this past year. I can't wait to see what you've got planned for 2010! I've discovered so many sweet bloggy friends that have inspired me to tackle some of my own projects and you, my dear, are one of the main ones.
amazing I love them all
I love all of your changes and ideas! Great job!!

WOW…love the before and after pics…you have been a busy little bee…great projects!
Happy 2010!
Beth, great projects! I think I found you about the time you did your boy's room. I loved that chairrail thing you did, so genius. Love your DR chair redo too AND the stairway. Those brick walls you have just make me smile. Love them! And you, you're a doll. Those photos of you made me laugh. I look like that in the a.m. too! 🙂
You are courageous and no I don't mean that before picture of you, but for taking on all of these projects. My staircase is due for a makeover this summer, I think I will run your makeover by my Love and see what he thinks.
Love, m
Beautiful, stunning? You all are a good bunch of liars. Lie to me some more :). I'm not complaining :).
Love you too! Thanks for becoming a new friend this year.
Your porch looks really good–were those chairs designed to have pillows in them, or did you add the pillows? I never thought about doing that with my rocking chairs, but I wouldn't mind a bit of cushion for my rump!
You look just as beautiful in the morning as you do when you're all gussied up! A real woman!!!!
I feel so unproductive!!! Your projects have been amazing! If I could find a blog having the Top 10 Projects in your Mind, I could join in!
