I had no idea when I purchased Halloween paper from Target’s dollar spot that I would be able to use it for so many great projects! An advent calendar, pennant banner, and now Halloween pail have all been created thanks to this cute paper. I would say that was a dollar well spent!
To make this Halloween pail, I purchased a black bucket at the dollar store, used a stencil to create the lettering, and mod-podged the paper onto the pail. Below is a picture of what the back of the pail looks like.
I am not crazy about the skeleton and crossbones in the middle of the “A” but Asher was insistent that it needed to be there, “Mommy, it will make it look so much cooler.” Hmmm. Who am I to argue with a five-year-old’s perception of cool? His mother that is who! But I figured it wasn’t worth the battle. Ribbon was also vetoed for it’s lack-of-coolness. Sigh. I sense many more of these “battles” in my future. For now, I’ll be happy that he’s still excited to carry around a pail that his Mommy made :).

Very cute! I love the paper! I think I'm going to have to check out Target's dollar section.
What a cute pail! Definitely a $1 well spent on the paper.
Also, I LOVE the name Asher! I have a girlfriend who's little boy turned 2 today and that's his name too!
