Hello my horribly neglected blog friends! I am so sorry for the lack of posts. Life is taking over right now, and unfortunately I need to let it. I will be back shortly. I desperately miss you all and think about you constantly. I’ll be by to visit some of you soon.
On a personal note, my hubby loses his job on July 31st. We are in the process of looking for new job opportunities and have some promising leads. One job in particular would require a move. We won’t know what we’re doing for another month or so, but all of this will most definitely impact my posts! I’ll be getting the house ready to sell in the next month just in case it needs to go on the market. Either way, I figure I can’t lose. A clean organized house is always better than a dirty cluttered one! My attention in the next month will be on simplifying our life, and I’ll take you along on this journey once I regain some time and energy.
xoxo,
Beth

Big hugs to you~good luck with all of your decisions. You'll know what's right~wish I could come help get the house ready! I would just snatch a few things and put them in my purse. You wouldn't notice, would you?? Oh wait, you might notice if they showed up in my thrifty treasures. 🙂 It will show beautifully if you need to put it on the market.
Love,
Melissa

I hope your husband finds a job quickly & if you do have to move you can sell your home fast (shouldn't be a problem 'cause it's fabulous!) & find another house that is JUST as fabulous for your family! 🙂

Transition is hard even if you don't move. We spent all last year with my husband looking for a new job, finding one, thinking we were moving, and then deciding to stay and have him commute. I feel like I just had a baby and am coming out of the first year fog. Tiring to say the least. I will be praying for you and your family during this stressful time.

Beth, we went through this last year. Keep in mind God can work all things for your good–even those that seem the OPPOSITE of good! I am trusting him for this as well, as we are having difficulties trying to conceive our first child. Your family will be in our prayers–looking forward to hearing how God will work in your lives during this time. Stay CLOSE to him in order to stay sane!

Beth,
I am sorry to hear about your Hubby and his job. I am praying that God will lead you and open new doors for you and your family. I am including one of my favorite verses.
"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future" (JER 29:11).

It does seem that everyone has their own things going on at the moment! Real life always takes priority, but I'm glad you are okay. You're right ~ it doesn't hurt. Even though we wound up not selling our house, clearing out clutter and getting rid of basically just "junk" was such a weight off. It's amazing how much stuff you collect over the years.
Tanya says
Very sorry to hear about your "change" in thinking and living possibly. Clean house will be good, move could be good???, God will take care of you and make the best decision for you. And yet it can also be stressful. Best wishes for your family. Please update when you can. You will be missed!!!
