Tonight will be Mantel Party #4. Terribly original name for a party, eh? I did consider Mantel Mavens Mommapalooza Party Numero Cuatro, but that seemed a bit much for you all. MckLinky won’t be open until 10pm, but I am posting a bit early with the hopes of enticing you with a giveaway!
But before we get to that, I give you….my mantel. I tweaked it just a bit this week after being inspired by This Blessed Nest.
The X came from Goodwill and the O is from my Eddie-inspired Halloween wreath . I love this thing. It is so versatile for every holiday. To make your own, simply wrap a dollar store boa around a dollar store wreath form, and you have yourself some instant cuteness.
The bossy little sign was previously hanging out in my bedroom, so I brought it down here to remind my family to dream some dreams.
What do you think? Do you miss my Valentine’s tree?
Don’t worry, I didn’t get rid of it. I just moved it to a better location in order to make sure I spread some Valentine’s love throughout the house.
Chris from Just a Girl warns us in this post that Valentine’s decorating can quickly turn to this nightmare below if we’re not careful.
Chris, you are so right and I am trying to heed your warning girlfriend, but it’s hard. Cupid’s decor arrow is a hard one to resist. I love Chris. She’s hilarious.
So friends, come back tonight and link up in order to enter a special giveaway from Nikki@Lovely Scribbles. More details to follow shortly, but here is a sneak peak as to what it might be! See you soon!

You are so hillarious, and your updated mantle looks awesome! I have kept up with the last three parties and have been trying to muster up the courage to join, I think tonight might be the night, EEK!
Oh my gosh. You're too funny. Don't worry–you're a few hearts away from that bottom picture just yet! I love the tweaked version! Still lovin' that boa wreath you made!
I love the mantel and especially love the Valentine's tree idea.
You did it again, Beth. I love the X and O…the feathers are so cool!! And the pillars and mailbox!! Great tweak job. I tweaked too, only because I still loved so many things from the previous mantel. Shopping the house gets a bit boring!!
Thanks for the big laughs over the other name for the party. It's so YOU!!! 😉
xoxo

That is just too ca-ute … love it all … the little mailbox to hold valentine wishes, the pillars filled with M&Ms (which, by the way, I would empty into my mouth in two seconds) and the feather wreath is go-jus !! Great job and thanks for hosting such a fun party !! Becca (Adventures in Decorating)

Beth that is so cute!!~ Love the stick tree, I have been considering making one for a while now, then I get side tracked into another project. In the fall I made a cute one spray painted the stick black and stuck some crows and sunflowers around it…….I love your ideas and enjoy your blog…..thanks:)
