I recently posted about my knock-off Pottery Barn chandelier. That same day my big sis let me know that she had purchased the PB knock-off pictured below from Overstock.com which is currently going for $229.99.
If you are a follower of Sarah’s, you might remember she recently purchased this PB knock off from Home Depot which is currently priced at $320.00.
And of course if only the original will do for you, here is Pottery Barn’s Camilla chandelier below which will set you back $399.99.
Hmmm. Comparing all three, I think the Overstock one looks closest to the original minus the candlesticks—but that’s an easy fix.
That one not your style? Well, okay then. Let’s see what else we have to choose from. Let’s start with the chandy which was my inspiration:
1. PB Celeste Chandelier $299.00

You know, the more I see the PB version of mine, the more I think it's WAY too busy. I am so glad I went cheaper! (Can't believe mine already went up in price!!)

hi! I left an anny comment on your previous post about the chandys on overstock. I actually have the celeste one, and love it! I broke a few of the crystals and the manufacturer was amazing to work with. http://www.tiffanydirect.com is the manufacturer, and they shipped my replacements for free! best part is the overstock one includes the shades, and PB wanted $10 a piece for them! 😉

Great finds Beth! I'm not sure if I commented on the chandy you made, but it looks great! Seriously, I had a difficult time differentiating the two. Have a good day! Lisa

Wow! I hardly ever check out Overstock. I'm going to have to take a look now. Seems they have great prices!

Oh how much I love you! I've been wanting a new chandelier for months, and you took all the leg work out of it! Off to Overstock, I go!

Wow. Those are awesome and leave me coveting having a chandelier. Or a house with decent overhead lighting. Great research. I had no idea you could get such great knock-offs at overstock.com! I used to hate their commercials so much that I boycotted them forevermore. I might have to forgive them!

Those are some great comparisons. It's amazing what you can find if you're willing to compare prices.

I love all these chandies! I have the small PB knockoff from Overstock similar to the first pic and I LOVE it! You can see it in at least one pic on this post.

Grammy Suzzy & DJ Doran,
I'm not sure if you have a Christmas Tree Shop where you live but the lighting section is quite impressive. I have seen several chandelier shades (in numerous colors) and actually bought two for my buffet lamps. I would also check Big Lots and even thrift stores. I've seen sets of them at both these places as well. Good luck!
Tammy@InStitches says
I've been looking at those on Overstock for weeks. I'm thinking about getting the drum chandy.
Grammy Suzzy and DJ Doran says
While on the topic, sort of, do you have a cheap source for the lamp shades for chandaliers? Any help would be so appreciated! I wrapped mine in white ribbon and glued on snowy trim, etc. and I just hate the thought of undoing it all, and it's been years since I had new ones!
Kathy @ Creative Home Expressions says
I agree, I think the first knock-off is the closest. I have a very plain black chandelier in my dining room that I got on clearance from JC Penney {I think it was $69.00}. I could probably add some bling to it, which might not be a bad idea, after seeing this post!
Beachbrights says
WOW! That's impressive. You'd make a great investigating reporter. Some of those look like the same Chandy!!
Thanks for this. You should start a service where you find a product for someone at a lower cost!
XOXO

I follow the blog. Love the light fixtures. I hate the one that's in my dining room. It's really modern, and not like anything in our home. Dameain's daughter said it looked "alien" so I'm sure you get the picture, lol.
AnNicole@Our Suburban Cottage says
Love the "ravishing" chandelier, but for a tenth of the price I could love the Overstock version just as much :). Can you imagine spending $1000 on a light fixture? I'm so cheap I can't even imagine spending $200.

I bought an Overstock wrought iron chandy in the summer and I was super pleased with the look and quality. I spent so much less and it was perfect!
