T-Shirt Stamping

I can take no credit for this project.  This was 100% dreamt up and created by my crafty husband.  He’s the true artist in the family, and I think sitting back and watching me create was secretly gnawing at him.  He wanted in on the fun.  I’m so glad he decided to join us!
Last night while I was away at a B&B for an overnight with an old college roomie, my hubby went to a thrift store and purchased shirts for the family.  He then ventured to Michaels and bought stamps, Staz-on stamp pads, and fabric paint.  He painted bleach onto a stamp pad to create the cute flower on my hip!

He placed a plate inside the shirt and then painted a circle with bleach on the back .

Once this was washed out and dried, he stamped “he loves me” all over the bleach spot.  Then finished it off with a stenciled “HIS” in fabric paint.

He also gave me a sweet “his” on my sleeve cuff.  I love it!  Thanks for my early b-day gift.  It’s precious babe!

The boys weren’t left out of the fun!

Matt brought home a stamping kit from the library (who knew???) called “Build Your Own Dinosaur”.  He dipped the stamps in white fabric paint.  To add some definition,  he stamped over the white with a black Staz-on pad.

I’m not sure I’ll ever get my kiddos to take these tees off!

The lettering was created with fabric paint and a letter stencil.

I love it and I love you Matt!  Thanks for joining the party!
