If you follow me, then you will be tired of hearing me talk about my awesome thrifting adventure in Lancaster, PA. (If you don’t follow me, I’d love it if you’d consider following my stories–A to Z that is. 🙂 You’ll also be tired of hearing me talk about my budget freeze. Well, the deals were so incredible I thawed the freeze for the following acquisitions.
1. Paisley tole tray for $1. I LOVE it. I find myself attracted to all things paisley lately, and I have plans to utilize this guy in my craft room. Well, room is a very generous description. It’s a closet, and you’ll have to come back this week to see it’s full transformation! It’s my birthday gift from my hubby using his birthday money on me! How sweet is that?2. Pair of silver candlesticks for $3. I really like their tarnished look and if I tire of it, they will shine up beautifully. (I tested a spot out just to make sure.)
3. Jewelry box for $3. This guy needed a serious makeover.
Ah, much better.
4. Old sewing table for $10. This beauty is FANTASTIC. I was so thrilled to find her. Just wait until you see the plans I have for her. She will be my rolling craft cart when I’m finished! Again, come back and see me to see her all gussied up and ready for action.
She’s starting to look better too!
Thanks for visiting. I’m joining up with Met Monday and Thrifty Treasures today. Go check it out!
