A smaller laundry room requires out-of-the-box thinking and inventive storage solutions. Using beautiful and functional organizing options, let’s explore several creative ways to get your laundry room in shape for the new year!
Fill the awkward space above laundry cabinets with useful storage baskets.
Use woven bins and baskets to hide clutter, keep laundry organized, and looking beautiful in your space! My laundry cabinets do not go all the way up to the ceiling, leaving an underutilized and unattractive empty space. If your laundry cabinets do not reach the ceiling, consider using this empty space for additional basket storage. Before shopping for baskets, first measure the length, height, and depth of the empty space and use these measurements when shopping online to inform your decision on which baskets will work best for your space. Baskets can be used to organize each family member’s washed clothing, or simply to store extra supplies.
I purchased my baskets at World Market and have affiliate linked several other options of my favorite rectangular baskets below. To shop for affiliate-linked laundry room accessories, simply click on the thumbnail picture which interest you to immediately be taken to the item for purchase.

It’s an LG Smart Drum washer and LG dryer. I bought them at Lowe’s three years ago and it looks like they no longer carry them.
