…..And because I can see in my flickr account that a bizzilion of you tried to get a closer look at my parents’ house….here is a close-up for you. And I swear I didn’t photoshop in that rainbow. If you saw bluebirds flying in the photo, then you might have just cause for some suspicion :).
Gorgeous house. I love the porch and want to try those biscuits. Please post them to the its so very Creative party so I have the recipe handy

I think you should post some pictures of the inside of this beautiful house! I would love the inside of it!
Oh. my. goodness. Are those adoption papers ready yet? I'm not much trouble, honest. 🙂
No point in mincing words…I. WANT. IT. ALL. 😉
Oh my gosh..that is just so beautiful! Looks like lots of rooms that I would not want to clean though! lol…
The rainbow just adds to the beauty!

Really? You didn't add that picture-perfect rainbow? All it's missing are those bluebirds you mentioned!
I love yellow houses. Looks like there would be plenty of room for me and my family in it. Your parents wouldn't even know we were there, I promise! 😉
I am in awe. That house is BEYOND stunning! And those biscuits…YUM!
The biscuits look yummy – but that house is just delicious! Do they really live there? It looks picture perfect! Your family is beautiful, and I can see how you and your sisters are so lovely…your mom is a very lovely lady too! Family is such a wonderful gift! I miss mine a lot right now…5 sisters and a brother…and none of them close by! Sniff, sniff!

LOL everyone regarding "how did they ever get you all to move out". While on our last visit, my youngest son commented that he hadn't been to the house very much. In response my mom said, "You've been here about half your life!" He's almost three. We've lived out of state all of those years. So that might give you a small glimpse into how much (and for how long) I go to visit!!!
That is such a Beautiful home your parents have, and I know you all have so much fun there together, the sweet potatoe biscuits, I know are so delish, and I am excited you posted the recipe, I am going to have to make these : ) Thanks for the great pictures…..

Oh dear….TYPOS! Sorry! I meant pales in comparison. I also meant GOOD LORD:):)
Giid Lord, we have stayed in a house in the Outer Banks that slept 20 of us, and it plaes in comparison to THIS!!!!!!!!!!! I agree, how did they get you all to move out;):):) The rainbow is amazing! I am so in love with the house I can't believe it! GORGEOUS!!! May I ask what state it is in???? Just so I can dream………
Lovely home! Thanks for the recipe!
Wow! That house is stunning and deserves a rainbow!
What a great family picture! I think it's great that you all get along so well. Your parents house is gorgeous ~ the rainbow in the background makes it look even more amazing. I've got some great recipes from my grandmother. They were all my favorites from when I was a kid and they are probably the best things I make and am always asked to make at family parties. Love when recipes get passed down.
That IS a really great pic of the house… and a really horrible picture of me! Please, everyone, ignore the shiny-faced sibling to the right. Instead, gaze longingly at those fabulous biscuits. They really are delish!
Ok so that house is unreal! That is a real house? And you get to go there? I would just move in. How did your parents get you all to move out? I am in awe.
Are YOU kidding me? I love your essays and I big, fat, puffy HEART the Melting Pot. Yes, we are there scraping every last bit of chocolate out of that bowl. We ran out of things to dip and started fighting with our sporky-things to scoop up every last chocolate drop! It was awesome.
Oh my, that house is gorgeous! Wow. And the sweet potatoe biscuits sound fantastic. I may have to give them a try. I hope you're able to make it to Gettysburg this weekend!
ARE YOU GUYS AT THE MELTING POT EATING ONE OF MY FAVORITE DESERTS???? I'd know those metal plates from a mile away! I LOVE going there for that DELICIOUS fondue. No one here ever wants to go, so I always take my girlfriend when she visits from CA. It's the highlight of our visit. The last chocolate mixture we had was so good I wanted to pour it straight down my throat! YUM!! I love those parmesan-crusted pine nuts on the salad, too. (Can you tell I love food???)
Your parent's house is RIDICULOUS, but I'm sure you know that already. OMG, I love it. For some reason it reminds me of a much better version of the house on the beach in "Nights in Rodanthe"– yours is yellow and much bigger. And prettier. It would make the most fabulous b&b. When I make the biscuits I'll let you know. Sorry about these essays I tend to leave . . .
Good god, how many square feet is that?! I'm totally envious!
