Tutorials & Tips Not to Miss! {3}

I just returned from a week’s vacation in Virginia and North Carolina, and I am frantically trying to play catch up!  Oh my goodness!  You all blow me away each week with your talent.  Here are some of the links from the Tutorials and Tips party that I want to make sure you didn’t miss.

No-Sew Ottoman by In My Own Style.  Anything no-sew catches my attention and this ottoman is fantastic!

{DIY} No-Sew Pillows by Hi Sugarplum.  I love that she added piping to a no-sew pillow! Brilliant!

Faux Mirrored Metallic Night Stand by Little Miss Penny Wenny.  I love this painting technique and am excited to try it on a piece of my own furniture!

Savvy Southern Style used a similar fab painting technique to create her French Gray Mirror.

I’ve seen a lot of starburst mirrors over the past few years but this Silverware Starburst Mirror by Flamingo Toes is magnificent!

And here is another ingenious alternative to any spare silverware you might have hanging around!  Fork Photo Holder by Pretty Handy Girl.

It’s always amazing what you can transform with just a few cans of spraypaint and the Casabella Project demonstrates this in spades with her Knock-off Ballard Garden Stools.  I was with Myra when she purchased these beauties and I have to admit that I am slightly jealous!  Fabulous!
The Lovely Residence added a great backsplash to their kitchen.  But guess what?!  That backsplash is actually a DECAL!  No grouting or tile cutting involved! Who knew such a product existed?

And here is another fabulous faux tip and tutorial that will knock your socks off from Fieldstone Hill.  This Checkerboard Flooring is painted right onto the subfloor!

And let’s leave off with a sweet treat shall we?  These Brownie Cake Pops from Sand and Sisal are gorgeous and very doable!

Thanks so much to everyone who shared their wisdom last Tuesday.  I look forward to seeing what you have to share this week!

The winner of the flexi clip is Hilary!  Congrats Hilary!  Email me so that I can get your information.

Hi, Beth! I’ve admired your blog for sometime and also happen to live outside of Harrisburg – small world! I just launched my blog this week and this is my very first tutorial – the Shamrock Tee Tutorial. Hope it is helpful to someone! Oh – and I love the flexi-clip. I think I’d be a medium. 🙂
If you didn’t win, no worries.  Flexi clips are very affordable and you can purchase your own Lilla Rose Flexi Clip by clicking here.
