Easy Fall Porch Decorating Ideas
Let’s begin with the porch since this is one of my favorite fall “rooms” to decorate!
Tip 1: Pick a hue and allow either your pumpkins or your flowers to shine. If you love bright flowers, try using white and light hued pumpkins alongside your flowers.
Plum and Red Mums Fall Porch
I found some gorgeous bi-colored mums at Walmart and they were the jewel-toned inspo for this fall porch! By using white pumpkins and candles, it allows the flowers to take center stage. Add in a pretty wreath that coordinates with your flowers, and you’re done!
Traditional Fall Porch
This was our porch last fall, and I went all-out with traditional colors. This was an unusual choice for me as I hadn’t used traditional fall colors on the porch in a decade! The bright pumpkins in varying hues are so cute, and the neutral flowers and greenery add to the overall look without taking away from the pumpkins.
Tip 2: Pumpkins can be expensive! Mix real and faux pumpkins in your decor. You can also paint your real or faux pumpkins to match the color scheme of your choice.

Tip 3: Layer your decor for an added layer of fun! The seasonal wreath is layered on top of a magnolia wreath, and the rugs are also layered for an extra layer of design and function.
Traditional Fall Porch
A quick and easy way to beef up a seasonal wreath is by layering it on top of another wreath. I layered this fall seasonal wreath on top of a magnolia wreath that I already owned. The effect is gorgeous at a fraction of the price. The hello doormat is layered on top of an old blanket scarf that I’ve owned for years.
Layered Rugs on Black and White Porch
Functional doormats can sometimes be too small by themselves for a cute porch design. By layering a functional rug on top of a larger rug, your overall look is darling and adds that something extra just for fun.
Easy Fall Dining Room Decorating Ideas
Let’s move on to the dining spaces! I could stay on porches all day, but there are other rooms that I’d love to show you as well.
Tip 4: Make a creative fall table runner with pumpkins and shelf paper.
