You finally get to see some method to my madness! It all started with this giveaway that for some reason I was convinced I would win and of course didn’t. (You know who did? The Nester! Seriously? Some people have all the luck.) No worries. I set out to make my own cute mod podged clothespins and wooden spools! I had no idea what I would do with them, and no idea why I wanted them so badly, but I knew I loved them and felt I needed them. Then if you remember, I scored some serious loot in my neighborhood recently on “Bulk Pickup Day”. This old window was amongst the many free treasures I nabbed. From there the ideas just melded together to create a Window Shadowbox—-a beautiful place to display current pictures, postcards, and inspiring pretty things!
The words on the spools thoroughly add to my viewing enjoyment of pretty things I adore…
But really this word sums it all up for me.
I missed this post because I hadn't discovered your blog yet. Thanks for giving me the link so I could see it now. You're so creative–what a cool idea!
I love this idea- it would be so much better than cluttering my refrigerator!
Your window shadow box is fantastic! I just love it.
Very creative idea! That's using your noodle!
I love it too! I'm so proud of the way you whip things like this up. Okay, maybe "whip" is an overstatement but I'm proud of you.
Hello Beth – love what you did with the old window! I really like how you arranged all the pictures on it and the use of the clothes pins and spools. Nice job! I have a bunch of old windows and always looking for neat ways to use them! Thank you for the inspiration.
Blessings,
Marie

Love it! Did you print off your monogram on the board from somewhere? I love your H.
Beth you rocked this OUT!!! I am so loving this but I have one question how do you hang this? I would think it was heavy. Great inspirational piece for me. Now I need a window. 🙂
Such a clever and darling transformation! The spools are too adorable!

So cute and great idea to use an old window frame. I've got several old windows in our barn, all picked up out of people's curb trash. Time to do something with them!
