Her CLOSET! Oh my goodness, it’s my dream come true!
Megan’s house is beautiful and her DIY projects inspiring. Today Megan is going to share with us how to decorate and spruce up our spaces using one. simple. accessory. These are often overlooked but add a huge impact to any space. You will see these on almost every page of any home decor mag or catalog. Yes, peeps, we’re talking about flowers!
Hi all! I’m Megan from Honey We’re Home sharing one of my favorite ways to add life and personality to any room in your home.
I love to decorate with flowers, and while the real ones are certainly preferable, I admit that I’m pretty smitten with some of the faux ones I’ve seen these days too! I usually buy a small bunch of fresh flowers from my grocery store every two weeks and keep them on the kitchen island and/or breakfast table since that’s where I am likely to see them the most. If you have a similar high-traffic area in your home, it’s so nice to have a pretty arrangement of flowers that make you smile when you see them. Most grocery stores sell smaller bunches of flowers for less than $5. Carnations (which come in a wide variety of colors) are $4 at my store and they last well over a week. Even a stem or two placed in a bud vase by your kitchen or bathroom sink is a nice addition.
Here’s a peek at how flowers (real or fake) can liven up your home. (Just for fun, let’s see if you can guess whether the flowers in each pic are real or faux :).
