Hi everyone! I hope you enjoyed celebrating the men in your lives today.
I’ve been suffering from a lovely stomach virus this weekend and had my in-laws in town. (The two are unrelated. LOL! But it’s made for a tiring time.) We managed to have some fun and celebrate in spite of my tummy issues.
My man is pretty low maintenance when it comes to celebrations. Buy him a nice card, some dark chocolate, exotic beers, and health/fitness products and he is one happy man. Allow him to skip stones by the river and he is beyond content ;). I’m so glad because I wasn’t up for doing much more!
But enough about me, let’s get on with featuring YOU! Here are some of my favorite tutes & tips of the week.
Summer Porch Decor by Scissors and Spatulas. Growing up, we had a chair and headboard painted pink in my big sis’s bedroom exactly like that chair! So fun!
DIY Pillow Shams by The Little Brown House. You have to see how she created the gorgeous ruffles on her shams. Ingenious!
DIY Map Pendant Light by Paisley Sprouts. This is such a fun and inexpensive DIY light!
Ikea Hack Sisal Rope Table by Sparkle. What doesn’t look cuter wrapped in rope?
Chair redo by DIY du Jour. Gotta love a free chair makeover!
Dresser with a French Accent by Charming. I love the silver contrasted with the blue!
How to Make a Slipcover by Honeybear Lane. This turned out so gorgeous!
How to Make a Driftwood Mirror {inspired by Crate & Barrel} by The Wicker House.
Faux Dough Coral by The V Spot. If you can’t find any at Walmart, here is a completely diy version!
DIY Fireplace Mantel by Addicted 2 Decorating. Kristi never disappoints and this mantel is fabulous!
Shim Sunburst Mirror by The Logan’s Landing. I love all the diy sunburst mirrors out there and this is a beautiful one!
Thanks to everyone who linked up to the par-tay! I’ll see you tomorrow as our How to Decorate Series continues with Emily from Decor Chick!
Thanks so much for featuring my dresser redo!
What a Lovely surprise to find my driftwood mirror on your post. Thank you so much for the feature! Hope you get feeling better. I’m a mom to two little boys, a little dog and laid back hubby too….It’s a good life!
Thanks for the love on my chair! Feel better soon!
Thanks for featuring my DIY Coral! You were the inspiration behind it, after all! 🙂 I sure hope you’re feeling better.
Thanks so much for featuring my mantel, Beth! Too bad it still had the ugly brass fireplace screen…lol. Love these other features. That map pendant light is amazing! Hope you’re feeling better, Beth. Get some rest!
Thank you so much for including my Pillow Shams with all these great projects! You are so sweet!
Beth, those are awesome! Thanks for sharing.
