Just so you don’t think I have been slacking around here, I wanted to show you what I have been working on.
I made some cute seat cushions to go with my boys’ updated checkerboard table.
Cute huh?
I even had some black ribbon with cherries on it in my craft closet just waiting for this project!
I wanted to update the shades on my buffet lamps. When I found these cute shades for less than $2 at the Christmas Tree Shop, I knew they would be perfect. I thought they were lacking in pizazz, so I purchased some blingy fringe at Micheals with my 50% off coupon.

I also found some very cheap bling for my chandelier from saveoncrafts.com. Excuse the blue arm in this picture. The blue arm said that he won’t hang the chandy for me, so as soon as I do some research on changing light fixtures I’ll get this baby up and running.

So, what have you been up to?

Hey, I'm down in your old neck of the woods (which is my hometown too 🙂 celebrating my 10th anniversary down here with family & friends! Love love love the crystals on the chandelier and the fringe on the lamps – I think just about everything looks better with some beaded fringe! I like to put in on my daughter's pant legs as well as lampshades. I've been working on my stair projects too and can't wait for all the reveals!!! MIKI
So pretty Beth! I just love the chandy and can't wait to see your staircase reveal.
Aren't initials the coolest?
Have a wonderful weekend. ~Melissa 🙂
great blog! Check mine out if you get a chance!
What a busy bee you have been! "We" (my hubby)are working on the walls of our garage/laundry/craft room. I couldn't look at them another day. They were unfinished sheetrock walls from 1969! Wish I had your energy, then I know they would be already done!
Love the chandy! Can't wait to see it up!
Well, I was just sitting here, thinking, "I hope Beth hasn't been slacking this week!" I'm glad to see you're keeping yourself busy. 😉
This looks great and love the chandy! I think the blue arm will give in and hang it for ya'!
Have a great weekend!

I love the brick wall did you do that yourself?
Great blog btw!
As if anyone would think you were slacking off! : ) Love the chandy ~ I just remind my "blue arm" about what could happen if I try to do it myself {holes in the ceiling; no power in the whole house, etc.}. Can't wait to see your stairs!
Wow! You're making the rest of us look bad with everything you're getting done! 🙂 I bought Christmas fabric today to make a Christmas apron for my sis-in-law as her gift. I have a LOT of crafty stuff I need to work on!
WOW you've been busy! I love the idea of the stairs being transformed! My "blue arm" won't let me take the carpet off of ours to see what's there…:( but I'm being encouraged by your blog! You are truly inspiring me.
I heart that chandy. What a meanie blue arm. =)
