A few weeks ago, I let you know that I would be attending the Grand Opening of the Montgomeryville, PA Cost Plus World Market store. Have you ever been inside a World Market before? If not, you are seriously missing out! The store is a feast for the senses. There are so many amazing World Market store finds to be discovered…and oogled…and snatched up before someone else grabs them!
I actually wasn’t quick enough on the snatch–and while I was hamming it up in the World Market photobooth with some fellow bloggers–someone swooped in and bought the light fixtures I had my heart set-on. How dare they, right?! Well fortunately for me, I could order them online. And fortunately for me there were PLENTY of other World Market store finds to keep me from being sad for too long. 🙂 Come tour the store with me!
The Montgomeryville store has an open, well organized, and spacious floor plan which makes shopping a dream. The laundry storage section had me wishing for a larger laundry room! Surely the laundry would somehow get washed, dried, folded, and put away if I had these cute storage containers. Okay, probably not, but at least it would look cuter during all of it’s many phases of undoneness.
There were plenty of rustic storage baskets too. I loved the Wooden Owen Crate with Chalkboard and think the baskets would be perfect for labeling items in a craft room, playroom, or pantry.
The collection of industrial-inspired home office accessories had me at hello!
I have wanted a perpetual calendar forever and couldn’t resist bringing one home with me.
I placed it in the kitchen near my coffee station which is perfect! I change the date in the morning as my coffee brews—and at least begin the day knowing what day of the week it is. 😉
World Market’s kitchen and entertaining sections are always fun to browse. I thought the floral plates and mugs would be pretty for a spring tablescape.
They had so much beautiful tableware on hand that it was difficult to resist.
Speaking of trying to show restraint, who can resist such cute cake stands?! The galvanized cake stands also double as great decor props.
The woodland creature kitchen items were so cute. My youngest is obsessed with racoons and woodland creatures, so I picked up the woodland creature measuring spoons for him.
And even though I rarely remember to wear them, I’m a sucker for a pretty apron! I do; however, remember to use my cute dishtowels and love the ones I’ve purchased from World Market over the years. They have all held up well to numerous washings.
So with so much goodness to choose from, what else did I buy? Well, I picked up the wooden bottle caddy with opener, the aqua rustic soup crocks, the adorable mason jar measuring cups, and the wood cutting board with copper hanger.
And of course, I also ordered two of these beauties online! I am excited to install them and will report back soon to show them off!
I think it’s safe to say that it was an incredibly fun and successful shopping trip, and I look forward to returning soon! If you live in PA, be sure to check out the new Montgomeryville store. And if you don’t live near a World Market, remember you can always shop online. 😉
