In fact, chances are really good that you will find several items to place on your own Christmas list this year! Don’t worry. I won’t tell! I always gift myself a little somethin’-somethin’ each Christmas. Hey, we can’t help it that we find ourselves so darn easy to shop for, right? 😉

Gift Ideas for the Home
Below are my picks for the home! I am completely addicted to beautiful throw blankets and am always on the hunt for a gorgeous throw to add to my collection. The one below is from Anthropologie and is on my Christmas list—as is the beaded chandelier from World Market. The gorgeous white bedding is similar to an Anthropologie duvet from years ago and is currently 71% off! If you’re looking for new romantic bedding, check it out. I own the cloche, deer head, cutting board, mugs, and sheepskin rug and highly recommend all of them! My double sheepskin rug is one of my most versatile (and favorite) accessories. I place it over my desk chair to add extra warmth and comfort, over the back of the couch to add texture, and on the floor to add warmth. I actually have two of them because I love them so much!
1. Anthropologie Snow Dusting Throw | World Market Wood Bead Chandelier (on sale!) | Nantucket Rope Cloche
2. Deer Head (make your own) or buy | Round Cutting Board | Moscow Mule Mugs
3. Sheepskin Rug | Serena Comforter Set (71% off!)
Gift Ideas for Friends and the Hostess
When it comes to buying a special gift for a friend, or beloved hostess, I always look for little indulgences that she wouldn’t normally buy for herself. She might not splurge on an adorable sleigh bell bottle opener, or gingerbread house mug toppers, but I bet she would be thrilled to receive them! Cute mugs, sassy dish towels, and sweet treats are always my go-to items.
1. Golden Monogram Mug | Farmer’s Market Berry Basket | Sleigh Bell Bottle Opener
2. Bellina Blooms Mug | Home Mug Topper | Mooreland Dishtowel
3. Champagne & Strawberry Lollipops | Painted Amaryllis Measuring Cups | Measuring Cups
Gift Ideas for Her (or for YOU!)
The following are items I already own and love, or they are lifted directly from my Christmas list! Let’s start with the pair of Hunter boots. I’ve been blogging for 8 years, and for 8 years I have used rubber boots in multiple ways as a home decor accessory! They are classic, work great to repel rain and snow, and look adorable in your mudroom! What’s not to love? Cozy robes, over the knee boots, and cute flats are a few of my favorite things. And when it comes to gifts for her, I don’t think you can go wrong with a well chosen wrap, scarf, watch, or pair of sunnies!
1. Hunter Boots | Cozy Fur Robe | Over the Knee Boots
2. Over the Knee Cable Socks | Floppy Felt Hat | Plaid Scarf
3. Houndstooth Cape | Michael Kors Double Wrap Leather Strap Watch | D Ring Flats | Nail Lacquer – Disco Nap | Tort Sunglasses
Gift Ideas for Him
Men can sometimes be tricky to shop for. I curated all of the following items with my own husband in mind, but what man wouldn’t love to shoot at a target to turn off the alarm clock each morning? Actually, there is no way I would buy this for my husband–but it would make a fun gift for a brother or teenage son. 🙂 My man loves his coffee french pressed each morning and he loves making daily “protein shakes” which are really just smoothies each evening. We have been through a LOT of blenders over the years and the Nutribullet is our favorite.
1. Gun & Target Recordable Alarm Clock | H&M Gloves | H&M Plaid Flannel | H&M Jacquard Knit Hat
2. H&M Plaid Scarf | Mini Table Top Pool | Nutribullet Blender
3. French Press | Mens Microsuede Slipper | Wood Watch
Gift Ideas for the Kids
Before I blogged, I worked for a decade as a family counselor and elementary school counselor. I did a lot of play therapy with kids and loved incorporating imaginative play and sensory activities into my sessions. The gifts below span a wide-age span but are mostly geared for younger kiddos. The plush toy in the middle is a “worry eater” and is something I would have used in my sessions. It is such a cute idea! When your child is worried, you have them write down or draw a picture of what is worrying them and then feed it to the monster. He eats the worries up so you don’t have to worry any longer! Hmmm, maybe I need a worry eater for myself. 😉 The map is great for families who travel. Have your kids scratch off the places they have visited! The marble run is reconfigurable and musical, the putty glows in the dark, and the story cubes ignite imaginations.
1. Animal Hand Tatoos | Kinetic Sand
2. Wooden Musical Marble Run | Worry Eater Plush | Scratch-off Travel Map
3. Glow in the Dark Putty | Food Face Kids Plate | Construction Plate with Utensils
4. Story Cube Set | Wooden Blocks
